There are four teachers I currently look up to at my school. ^^;
Mrs. Lord - English 2 Honors teacher that I had, and also the advisor for the Creative Writer's club that I'm Vice President of. She's a very nice lady who sings with a church band and lets me sit in her classroom during my open period so I can write. When she was my English teacher I really admired how she tried to challenge us while not giving us so much work that we got bogged down (don't get me wrong, we got homework, but she taught us how to spread it out and manage our time). She's just really laid back and compassionate, and it's not uncommon that my friends and I sit in her room during lunch and talk to her.
Mr. Zogg - My photo teacher is great. XD; He's a nice guy, pretty laid back, but he's a bit eccentric (the man has a dead hawk in his freezer. >_>; Don't ask how THAT came about) and he has a really amusing dry sense of humor. I'm really glad he's the photo teacher at my school, because I don't think anyone else would be able to put up with my constant blunders and my impulsive need to ask questions. He has good taste in music, too. x3 Maybe I should try to introduce him to jrock.
Mr. Barnes - My history teacher for THREE years now. You'd think the guy's sick of me already, but he dun seem to mind seeing my face day after day. xD; Luckily. I'm sort of the technical support in the class, since he tends to live in the past (he doesn't believe in cell phones/book keeping software/etc.). I don't think he's a Christian, but I admire his outlook on teaching. He constantly reminds my class that you go to school to learn, not to get good grades, and he tries to emphasize learning instead of points, which I really like. He's also against all the political correctness that's going on in the world today, and while he's not religious, he still uses terms like "merry christmas" and "before christ" and he thinks that changing terms like that is ridiculous. x3
Mr. Kurrle - My biology teach freshman year - I have NEVER laughed so hard in a class. Mr. Kurrle is seriously WEIRD (he has a clock that farts on the hour) but he's a good teacher and he knows how to make you laugh no matter what. (I walked into his room for a club meeting a couple weeks ago, and he looked at me and said "Oh no, Kelly's here, we're doomed" X3; ) He's also fairly open about being a Christian, and his dad was a minister at one of the big churches in my area, from what I understand.
