(People mistake me for Mega and mistake Mega for me, mostly because we have similar hairstyles and are about the same height... I've been asked if we're twins after people figure out we're not the same person.)

People always confuse me for my brother... I guess that tends to happen when you have an identical twin. X_X

I once got mistaken for my mother. Albeit, it was by a slightly befuddled and possibly senile great aunt at a gathering. It took a full ten minutes to convince her that I was not my own mother O_o

It's been a long time since anyone confused me for someone else. I think the last time it happened was when I used to work at Target as a cashier around the time that the first Spider-man movie came out. A kid around the age of 5 pointed at me and said "Look! It's Spider-man!" I got a kick out of that, Spider-man is my favorite superhero.

My grandfather in the last years of his life had serious recent memory issues, and referred to my sister and I as his two daughters. Though, I am the oldest and have brown hair and glasses like my dad's eldest older sister, and my little sister is blonde with no glasses like my dad's younger older sister. It was really sad though, because I was one aunt and my sister the other, but there was no young boy to be my dad as a kid. Really upset my dad, because Grandpa would ask where Jim was, because his 'sisters-as-kids' were there, when he actually was right there, just not a kid like Grandpa remembered. *sniffle*

My first piano teacher used to call me by her niece's name - Jessica. And when we were both in grade school, we looked almost identical, except that I was a year older. Don't look alike any more though.

My mom is a bit of a space case and has called me Erin (sister), Sarin (combination of my name -Sara- and Erin's), Mora (my dog), Rita (her sister), and has even completely forgotten my name at times. I look nothing like my sister, we're almost exact opposites in coloring and personality, so no other confusions. Apparently, personality-wise I'm very similar to my aunt, though and we both have brown hair and blue eyes, and are about the same height, so I sort-of look like her when she was my age.

I have also been mistaken for my mother over the phone. Though I sound about 5 years old on answering machines for some reason.

My boyfriend swears that there is a girl in the church he goes to at college that is my twin, never been there to see, so I can't say. But then he also says I look like an older version of the actress who plays Susan on Lion, Witch, Wardrobe.

Depends on which girl? Trisha? Debbie?

Debbie has the sideways ponytail and the 80's clothing....and everyoneone else did too (the clothing part).

Um, this is a gravedig, which is like, not good.

That's so sad, it's always so hard on the family whenever memory loss occurs. I would always confuse my great-Aunt whenever I visited her, she didn't have the slightest clue as to who I was. Although she almost remembered my mom to the end, which was nice. The only really sad thing was that my Grandmother, her sister, had recently passed away and my great-Aunt kept asking where her sister was. We finally gave up on breaking the bad news to her over and over.

Though I do remember her once asking if my mom had fallen from the sky, which was pretty interesting and kinda funny ^^

I don't think I've been mistaken for someone before, not sure about that one. But my name is 'Christian' and when people are talking in my vicinity and they may say the word 'question' in the sentence I often mistake it for me. Happens often. Too often.

My mom constantly mistakes me for my sister and vice versa when she calls and one of us picks up the phone. A few times someone said I could pass as some other girl's double, and the most awkward moment was when some guy in college said I looked like his ex-girlfriend.

Side note: My dad was once approached by someone who said something along the lines of "Pardon me, but I had to ask. Are you Richard Dreyfuss?"
K. Ayato: What happens if you press the small red button?

*Explosion goes off in the movie*

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

People ask me if I'm Geena Davis and well, that one is starting to freak me out a little bit.

...

No. No one ever mistakes me for other people. There was this one guy at Ryan's Steak House who was convinced that I was the best friend of his friend, but I'm not. He did load me up with a massive piece of steak when I'd go get steak, though.

I just remembered, I once got told by a guy at youth group that I kinda looked like Barbara Streisand. For the rest of the week, I was this close to throwing things at his head

My dad can't tell any of his kids apart on the phone, but he especially has trouble with me and my little brother. See, my little bro's voice hasn't changed yet, and I have an alto voice, so we're kind of in the same range. So, dad'll call the house and I'll pick up, and when I say "hello" he'll say, "Hey buddy, let me talk to momma," to which I will reply, "it's (insert my name) dad," and then he auto-corrects and says, "Hey baby, let me talk to mom," XD.

Every once and a while I get told I look like an Olsen twin, which I guess I vaguely see because we have similar eyes and facial structures, but once one of my campers at summer camp told me I look like Nicole Richie. Uh, no. That I don't see at all.

Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;

Well, my name is Josh but one of my friends (a year older) couldnt remember that, so he got all of his friends calling me "Little John" which has since been shortened to just "John". The ironic thing is that this is my most vehemently anti-christian friend but he's the only one who calls my by my confirmation name (though accidentally).

Also my cousin got me confused wiht another Josh the other day on AIM.

Hmm, well in Disney World, all the workers kept calling me 'Belle'. I've got brown hair and I had it up that day, got brown eyes, I think I was wearing blue and white (no dress; I hate dresses lol) and to top it off, I was walking around with my nose in a book.

Many people have told me that I look just like Galadriel.

There is also a girl at my church who is four years my senior and has no relation to me after Noah. We look so similar though, that my mom, her mom, my brother, and both of her brothers have gotten us mixed up before.

I don't look like anyone famous, but apparently there is another girl who looks just like me wandering around campus. People will ask me questions thinking I'm her.

My cousin once told me I am a lot like the girl in the Princess Diaries before her makeover. My couisn also wants to be a beautician, do you know what she was thinking? :wow!: :bootout:
