ooo...well, MSP is of course mentioned everywhere....I've known of mave for a long time due to her art....and kae/nate seems to be pretty well known....I know there are others but that is all my hopelessly tired mind can come up with right now. oh! also USSRgirl in terms of the Temuoplis discussions.

Yeah I didn't even mention to bother some people like MSP and Ingemar because everyone already has mentioned them. Yeah that Shatterheart was pretty wierd...I think the reason that I've not been mentioned is because I have such a non distinct name that people just think "oh that dude wrote something" without realizing that it's my screen-name.

Really? I heard he moved to New Mexico to raise cats and flag down the mother ship when she returns from planet Zenon. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

The Letter from God Dear child, Despite your silence, I have heard your soul weeping. Why have you been so unhappy? Have you forgotten my everlasting love for you? Child, you are mine. Why have you not called my name sooner? If you seek me, I will answer. I am your counselor, ready to instruct you and show you which path to take. When you come to me, I will embrace you and silence all your fears. Just remember that I am here to hold you close and dry your tears. I will always be right beside you. Not only am I your father, but your best friend. Do not be afraid to ask for my mercy and forgiveness. I know that its hard to live on earth, so I understand when you fall down once in awhile, ask me for help, and I will pick you up and carry you. No one loves you more than I do. When you feel alone, remember I am beside you. When you feel helpless, remember I offer myself to you. When you feel lost, remember I will lead you, and when you feel forgotten, remember that you are my child and I will love you unconditionally. It is never too late to come home. I will be here waiting, ready to embrace you. I will leave the light on for you. Forever with you, God

Ingemar without a doubt, anyone who creates a major work of fiction about the CAA as big as Days in the Life should be very famous. Zarn Ishtare, Zilch, Volt (despite his having left) Termyt, BSJ, and The Warrior4s all come to mind. Oh, and MSP, noone could overlook him.

Development is infamous, Osaka would have made the famous list were she not a mod and disqualified

In CAA, different members in different periods of time tend to get fame due to their temporary increase in forum attendance and noticeable posts. It is like a microcosm of the rise and fall of ages in a civilization.

I would say we are currently in the "Mr. SmartyPants and Kaemmerite Golden Age," which was established by the violent overthrow of the Great Patriarch, Ingemar, and his "Age of Absolute Tyranny."

(That last part was an attempt at a joke.)

I refuse to encourage yet another thread that serves no purpose other than to give recognition to the members here. Post something thought-provoking, encouraging, or otherwise edifying, and you get my vote (I think you all know who you are). I believe that was more common here at CAA, but it has fallen off I think.

So...here's my challenge for all of you who think they fit the above description:
Start one productive thread after you read this. It could be a question, a topic, a good point, a reminder of some biblical truth, or a personal opinion. Just be careful with those opinions, as it's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt.

Do that consistently enough, and you'll make a name for yourself. Even more so, you'll make CAA a better place, and hopefully do something good that will long outlast this humble forum.
Our lives are but a vapor, let us not let waste our time and breath on vanities, but let us spend ourselves for the Kingdom, seeking a better resurrection.
