Anime Cons and Cosplay

Hey, has anyone gone to any Anime or Gen Con's recently? If so, what was your costume?

I was at Sugoicon '05 in Cincinnati in October. My sister cosplayed as Mint from Tokyo Mew Mew.

^_^; I may love cosplay a little too much...At last year's Anime Expo I was Kantarou from Tactics and Merle from Escaflowne.

Ohio,huh? I know there is a Gencon here in Indiana at Indianapolis once a year, but still. So, what were the minishops there like, what kind of cool Anime stuff was there and what were the coolest Anime costumes there like?

this year, I want to be a interesting enough character, who is a Guardian in Training. The costume will be a mix. It is a Konoha Ninja(Naruto)/ Military Officer of Armestia from FMA. It's going to have a short sword and a Katana, plus a konoha head band; since the character I want to cosplay had spent 50 years in each of those universes and has trained in Ninja techniques(to help is control of his life force energy that he has to use in combat from time to time when Holy Power is not an option for him) and an officer(for military tactics) as a warrior.

I'd like to go to an anime con someday, but I never have gotten to. It would be cool to go as Vash the Stampede... But on the other hand, it would be more fun to wield a sword...
