Pat (Noriyuki) Morita, Mr. Miyagi from the Karate Kid movies, died Thanksgiving Day at the age of 73.

Whoa. Bummer. At least he went with family there with him. Odd time of year to pass away. I work with a guy whos mom passed away 2 days before Christmas. It's always hard on the family...but around the holidays where the media bashes us with "get together with family" nearly 24-7....its even harder.

Awww that's really sad but at least he seemed to have died peacefully from natural causes. :(

May he rest in Heaven.

Wow. He was a real cultural icon. Plus a part of my childhood, growing up as I did in the 80's. Karate Kid was a great movie.
