Come title my lastest character

Come title my lastest character

Postby ishy » Thu Oct 20, 2005 7:30 pm

I am working on an RPG and I need a name for a Robin Hood-like character. Everything I can think of has already been done (my favorite was Silverwing and that's a Canadian cartoon character).

Any ideas?

Alright, I'm looking at fantasy name generators and am just going to start posting ideas here (I'll edit this post). Maybe one of these will inspire something better:

Bloodwind
The Whisperer
Duchyarrow
Cardinal
Scarlet Tanager
Diamondwing
Lansone (ie Land's Son)
Clanoe

Hmmm..I think Helmut and Lemort have been done. And I can't even pronounce the first one...

And BTW, the char's real name is Cameron. This is his 'alter ego'.

Son of Herne

Is that from the novel Fire Bringer?

Anyway, Rannoch is cool.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

"Still".

I don't know, there's something about having that as one's name. It also rhymes with "steel" and "steal", kinda.

Son of Herne was I believe one of the titles of Robin Hood in the BBC series
Robin of Sherwood,I'm not sure about it though, however there was a relationship
between Robin and his Merry Man in that series to the Saxon Wood God Herne.
