J2: Jubei-Chan The Ninja Girl 2

Postby Yamato145 » Mon Sep 19, 2005 9:17 pm

Have you seen this show!?
I remember Jubei-Chan (The first one) vividly because it had the most beautifully animated fight scenes ever!!!
Now the whole show is like that and the battles (some of which actually last a couple minutes ths time around) are ven more beautiful.
Oh! and they kept that amazing theme music!
If you haven't seen it check it out (I'd suggest seeing the first one beforehand although it is not necessary, lots of inside jokes)
YA-HA!!!
The loving, caring, and slightly bad-influencing father of 1balloonpopper and khakibluesocks!!!
Also I'm not sure how -_-' but somehow I am the Master and Father of Spectro-King according to his signature ... but hey I'm up for having a minion ... so jump stupid ... I'll have him keeeeel you
 Evil child of Fantasy Dreamer and Dark Disturbed Grandchild of Cephas VII
On a quest to adopt Cephas
 WACKY BANANA!!! ROCKER!!! glomp of DOOM!!!
Ive noticed something interesting, when a place is really amazing people say it must be seen to believed ... but the most amazing place ever must be believed to be seen.

I'm really looking forward to watching this, but I want to wait until the whole thing is out. I hate waiting for the next volume to see what happens. Daichi happens to be my favorite director in anime. So many great shows like Now and Then, Here and There, Fruits Basket, Tsukikage Ran, and this one. Is it just as good as the old one? Is it all released in America yet?

Then I also recommend Tsukikage Ran, which had fantastic detail in its fight scenes as well.

Daichi is fast becoming my favorite. I'm also in the process of collecting Kodocha and Fruits Basket is on my list - thanks mostly to the following it has on this site.

it was such a good series! And it ended so well! I was like tearing up XDD

I believe the actual title of the 2nd series is like "The Siberian Yagyu" or something

and the art and animations and music is superior in the second season

And the series goes more funny and comical. Like the kendo fighter riyujoji (forgot his name) sucks at fighting for some reason, and is more lax (and I think he even has a different japanese voice actor) and his brother dies his hair green or something and becomes a manga reading punk-rocker

I'm loving this series, which is obvious, when you look at my avatar of Bantaro and the Ruffians.

Yeah, Daichi is definitely my fave director. And it's a great time to be a fan of his work, since J2 and Kodocha are both being released right now (as high-profile releases, no less). I've also finally started Now and Then, Here and There, and I'm hooked. It's a really great show.

It's too bad Kodocha is so long. I don't want to see it until the whole thing is released so I can watch it uninterrupted.

Yeah, I do prefer watching everything uninterrupted, but having new volumes of J2 and Kodocha coming up gives me something to look forward to in my anime-watching.

Wow ... I didn't know so many jubei-chan fans were out there.
In fact me and my friend Mike were surprised by J2s release because we thought we were about the only people who liked it.
I do wanna see tsukage ran but kodocha doesnt look like its for me. Fruits Basket im not really sure on ... could someone tell me a little about it.
Oh and the title is (quite long)
J2: Counterattack of Siberia Yagyu: Jubei-Chan 2
it actually says that on the package

Well, I originally heard about Jubei-Chan in the context that it was by the same director as Now and Then, Here and There, so that was the first plus in my book. Then, when I came here, the review on it was so good that I bought it without my usual habit of renting it first to see how it was. I was not disappointed. Recently I have begun to thin out my DVD collection, but this one's not going anywhere.

You think the series title is long? This is the soundtrack's title:
