thats hard to say, i would suggest acctually two days since friday ussually is the best time to just walk around and saturday has all the stuff going on and the most cosplayers.

umm advice wise would be to not spend to much money, ignore the yaoi freaks, and bring several cameras for pictures of the con and cosplayers

Truer words havee never been spoken.

My tip: BE FRUGAL. If you see something that is too expensive, look around the Con for the same thing, your odds are good for finding the same thing at a lower price.

Friday or Sat are the best days to go.

If you are going to buy anything. Have a bag with you, so that you can carry everything in it at one time.

Don't over do it with walking. Rest when you can and sit down. Bring water with you and eat well, so that you will not get sick or anything.

I would suggest checking the schedule, and seeing which day has the most stuff you would be interested in. Most of all, have fun.

Alternate walking and sitting activities. If your body starts to feel tired from walking, sit down somewhere or it will get worse by evening.

See friends there. It makes it so much more fun! :glomp:

Well, that is a hard one. I say at least $100 if you going to eat and stuff.

If you are going to the dealer rooms, then I say more then that.

Dealer rooms are both good and bad. Most of the time, they are a little over price on their anime.

When I go, I look for stuff that is hard to find and I don't buy anime at a con.

I brought $83 to Anime expo and spent nearly every dollar. I also bought food, two pens and a pen refill ($10 for pens and refill), a $21 bag, and some art. I was there for 2 days and parking was $9.

Wow, I was thinking on bringing junk food in a backpack and water bottles and just buying rare stuff maybe hard to get manga or plushies, since I can get cheaper animes probably. ;) By the way are there freebies? If so, like what kind of things?

At Anime Expo, I got an anime advertising fan, a J rock poster I'm not crazy about, a couple of small pins, and a sample ADV CD which I have no idea what is on it.

Yes, mostly posters and stuff like that. But if you go to some of the anime panels will give out free stuff too.

Snacks = good. Camera = good. If you're cosplaying an attractive male character, running shoes = good. You'd be surprised at how fast those fangirls can run.

Also, never overestimate how much time you have. If you plan on attending events that make you stand in line, then make sure you've got plenty of time to see everything you want to see. Always plan ahead and know what you're going to do in advance. ^_^

Food: buy none inside the convention center. Prices usually inflated (ask anyone who's bought a $6 box of Pocky). Concenters are always in metropolitan areas, so food places are never more than a mile away. Besides, you could use the exercise

I'm not sure about the fangirl thing. For one thing, I cosplayed as a female character and the fangirls hounded me anyway (then again, everyone assumes Kuroneko is a guy).

Just keep an eye out for anything. I'm very watchful when I'm in the dealer rooms or so, because you have so many people in there. I don't want to lost my wallet. Also, if you start to feel that you are not safe in area, let one of the con personal know. I know that the con that I go to, If a person doesn't feel safe walking to their car or some people. A con personal will go with you if you ask.
