I'm thinking of writing a book to accompany my website. I plan to include a chapter on people whose work I think newbies should acquaint themselves with. These are the people I've come up with so far. (I only decided to list someone if he or she had at least 3 titles legally released into the US)

Is there anyone I should include or is my list thorough enough? I'm thinking of doing a separate chapter for studios. BTW, I know that Hajime Yatate (or Yadate) is just a fake name that Sunrise often uses, so that's why I've excluded that name from the list.

Personally I'm bummed I can't include 2 of my favorite mangaka, Natsuki Takaya and of course, Tanemura Arina because neither have more than 3 titles in the US. ;__;

Mind you, he is not a real person, but a pseudonym used by Bandai for the group of people who create most of their projects (this name hasbeen used in the creator title of all things Gundam, and most other Bandai projects, including Cowboy
Bebop).

Then there is Tomino san, the other name associated with most thigns Gundam and is an actual person.

Hiroyuki Morioka - Wrote (and is in fact still writing more for) the Crest of the Stars novels that later got adapted into anime. Worth mention because of the detailed and epic nature of his novels. A true nerd, he even created his own language (the Abh language) for the stories. Talk about creating your own universe for a sci-fi novel.

It's kinda off-topic, but I included a link on constructed languages from wikipedia. I had no idea that many people were interested in that sort of thing. Conlang

Masaki Kajishima - He's worked on the Tenchi movies, Bugglegum Crisis, and did the characters and story for Dual! (PTA).
