as cute as Shippou is... he's a little brat. Therefore, my vote goes to Rin-chan!

*falls over* So many people would think that but it never really crossed my mind that it was a girl. Some say it's because of the ribbon in his hair (which I actually thought were ears for the longest time, but the blue colour confused me!)

Anyhow I vote for Rin. So cute!^^

Rin: "Seshoumaru saaaamaaaa!"
Jaken: "Matte o! Rin!"

I just think the whole Seshy/Rin thing is cute!

Although I'm not too familiar with this show I do believe I know enough about the characters to make a choice. My same reasoning as well.

I had to go Rin. Shippou's cute and all, but I once signed a contract stating I'd never vote for anyone named "Tail." Besides that, you'd think with his shape changing ability he'd be more useful. But he isn't.

Rin, on the other hand has a role to play.

Well, since I do watch much of IY and when I did I thought Shippou was a she, since it the dub voice sound like a girl and the way Shippou was dress.

She gave Sesshoumaru food when he was really badly wounded and then she was killed by wolves and then Sesshoumaru brought her back to life with his sword. She's his ward now and one of his soft spots (soo cute :lol:

Rin exists to annoy Jackal. Therefore she is cool.

But Shippou is so kawaii ^_^ He is more kawaii than she is.
And I know Shippo can be mistaken for a girl, I thought so the fiirst time I saw him. But he is a fox demon, though his garb isn't 'feminine' iif taken in context - those are pleated pants, not a skirt, and ponytails or buns have been a symbol of status in many cultures.

If you really think about it Inu Yasha, and many of the heroes of anime are not dressed traditionally.. I've been reading a manga where the lead character is supposed to be a buddhist monk, but he has hair. o.O

Hm. This is hard...

As for Shippo having a bow in his hair, I think it's supposed to just make him look more like a child because little kids don't (usually) care about that kind of thing. ^_^

This is hard. Shippo's just adorable, but Rin is adorable too. I'll have to say Rin. It's just too cute when she's singing to that huge two-headed dragon-horse about waiting for Sesshoumaru. :lol:

EDIT: Noooo! I can't say Rin...Shippo is cuter in a mischeivous, thinks-he's-all-tough-but-he-really-isn't way. :sweat:

He reminds me of Simba. Okay, I'm voting for Shippou!

EDIT2: I can't decide! Official: I have to say both are cute. -_-;
