I believe 140 is genius, but don't quote me on that one. ^^

Congratulations, Kelly!
Your IQ score is 135

Your Intellectual Type is Visionary Philosopher. This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicting patterns.

>.>;;; I HATE explaining things to people. I always confuse them.

Your IQ score is 124

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Insightful Linguist. This means you are highly intelligent and have the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.

Your Intellectual Type is Inventive Inquisitor. You have the unusual distinction of being equally good at math and verbal skills. This means you are a creative thinker and are uniquely good at teaching others through experiences. You are also a great improviser and very good at handling change.

This is a suprise to me because I'm mostly awful at math. That's what I think anyway. But I can get the most complicated things such as programming and things like that very quick. Yet I can't understand the simplest algebra problem. I think I'm just weird because of that.

138 and visionary philosopher, which is a good thing I guess since I am a philosophy major.

When I had my IQ officially taken as part of my psychological evaluation for entering seminary I scored a 159, so I don't think it's quite accurate.

You also always take it in the presence of a cerified professional, scores by a computer over the internet are not considered valid. Although it's not a set score, it should stay within a certain range. If it varies to a great degree each time you take it, somethings wrong.

That test told me I was a Visionary Philosopher too. *hehe* Hmmm, I hate to tell people my IQ, plus that test didn't seem like a real IQ test. :shady:

My husband and I did this, kind of being a bit competitive, last month or two ago. He's a math whiz and I'm an airhead - really think scatter-brained professor. He got 138 and was the Math whatever... because of math and I got 132 - because I hate math. Yes, his beating me is still very humiliating. :brow:

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

On other times I've taken tests, I've gotten many 129s, 130, 141-I think that was the european IQ test, and a fluke 146 or 148, and something I don't remember in the 130's.

Your IQ score is 122

Your Intellectual Type is Word Warrior. This means you have exceptional verbal skills. You can easily make sense of complex issues and take an unusually creative approach to solving problems. Your strengths also make you a visionary. Even without trying you're able to come up with lots of new and creative ideas. And that's just a small part of what we know about you from your test results.

Personally I am a little shocked...I have done better on other IQ tests in the past (granted I took this at 1:30 AM)...but also, that thing was WAAAAAAAAY too based on mathematics for any REAL measurement. Blah, I say. Math is teh evil one. (props to Shi-Hi)

And wow, lotsa platos running around here....

Yeah, I would've liked some other questions, becuase generally with maths,
I just kind of guess what i think is right, and blow through to the next question,
and it usually works.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I've taken a few IQ tests over the years, and I usually fall somewhere in the 130-140 range.

I am surprised that I would be called any kind of mathematician, since I hate math  . Of course I use it when necessary, but I much prefer the social sciences and humanities to mathematics.

I also took a break in the beginning, so I suppose that might have affected the results.

I've usually ended up 130s or 140s also, and no exception here; it cast me as an 'insightful linguist' (amusing since my undergraduate degree was in general linguistics).
