Hi,

What kind of car do you drive?

I'll be the first to respond (YESSS!!!). I drive a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle (and I'm 6'4), the car that automatically comes with the Legendary Weird Cool-ness factor!

In Korea, I drive a 1989 Hyundai Sonata that's constantly on the verge of dying. I wouldn't think of getting anything but an old, beat-up car -- the traffic in Seoul is really that bad.

Back in the States, I drive a Toyota Corolla.

I think driving a Volkswagen Beetle would be waaay cool.

My car is a 94 Ford Taurus, refurbished cop car, that has been junked out not once, but twice. My wife's car (and our main vehicle) is a 01 Toyota Corolla

A 1989 Volvo 740 turbo. That thing is awesome! It kills other cars and eats thier car's children. Maybe not that extreme, but you get the picture. I love the car.

2002 Saturn SL2. It doesn't kill other cars and it doesn't find children particularly palatable. In fact, if there were a vegetarian car, this would be runner up in that category to the Prius. When I'm driving in it, I have ineffable thoughts of whole wheat and fiber, Birkenstocks, and Barbara Streisand and Janis Joplin serenading each other.

Sorry, that was too much information. Despite that, I *do* like the car. :)

I drive a trio of cars. From least often driven to most often driven: 2003 Subaru Forester, 1994 Subaru Impreza and finally a 1985 Subaru GL wagon, is the car I drive most often. The car that I prefer though is the Impreza.

;_; You brave, brave, brave soul. Right now we have 2 trucks; a S-10 and a F-150. I'm still mastering parking the F-150 because it's HUGE. I've fallen getting out of the quad cab before. . . . Yeah, watch that step.

The car I learned to drive on was a 380hp V6 Ford Crown Victoria LTD station wagon. This car could probably have survived Hiroshima (and the engine had enough torque that it practically idled at 25mph -- when I was learning to drive it, I took the parking brake off, and before I put my feet down, it was already going forward! -- maybe that's why my dad started balding early  ).

I have my beloved '96 Buick Regal GS which I have affectionately christened the "Blue Bomber" (in honor of Mega Man). It has leather seats, a CD player, and a good engine that performs well. And it looks sporty.

I want to restore a 1970 1/2 Pontiac GTO convertible with my dad, and paint it black and purple witha black top (maybe go for a Starsky + Hutch paintjob, but in black n purple)

I roll in (on?) a riced-out '93 Huffy Rocket with black exterior, neon green seating and authentic rocketship decal, not to mention the super-bright reflector on each wheel and a bell with so much bass it made me chip a tooth. I have, oh wow, must be almost thirty inch rims, with super-fat 'grip' tires so I don't lose traction in rain puddles. Other features include: hand grips that match the seat, height-adjustable 'Grow With Me' seat, and matching green pedals. My ride sports 10 MPG (Miles Per Gatorade bottle) on smooth streets and 3.5 MPG on rough terrain.

p.s. for those who didn't get it: it's a bicycle, yo.

I dunno. Most of the riceburners and riceracers I see around here were made in California. ^^

In my neck of the woods, a riceracer/riceburner is an Asian import (typically Japanese, occasionally Korean) which has been heavily modified with aftermarket parts such as spoilers, new body configuration, etc. When my friend and I were driving up to oldphil and the Wolf's place once, about 1am on SR 85, we were nearly sideswiped by four Hondas which were racing in tight formation taking off onto Stevens Creek Boulevard. Those were classic riceracers with obvious alterations on a basic Civic or Accord chassis.
