Let's Play Pokemon Silver Nuzlocke

I promised a sequel and here it is and this is a sequel that should be...well...challenging. I have not played Pokemon Silver as nearly as much as I played Pokemon Blue. I've beaten it once and have never gotten close to completing the Pokedex in this game. This was because this game came out when I was in Middle School and I quickly went into that phase where "Pokemon is childish and therefore should not be played by a gamer of my sophistication." Yeah...we all remember those days. Anyway, I've modified the set of rules I was using to make it more difficult and interesting:

1. Catch the first Pokemon you encounter in each route/cave/whatever and nothing else. If you fail to catch it, too bad, continue onwards.

2. No repeat Pokemon. In other words if I've caught it once and it is still living, I'm not allowed to catch it again...so no more 50 Pidgey's sitting in my PC Box. Also, the first rule still applies, so...if I get a repeat then I will have one less possible slot for a team member.

3. If your Pokemon faints, consider it dead and release it.

4. Nickname every Pokemon caught after a member on CAA. Priority goes to those who ask to have their name used as a pokemon...one per member obviously. Since this is the first game of Pokemon where there are different genders, I will be taking that into account. Also, if you were a Pokemon in the last game, you can be a Pokemon in this game. I will give priority to individuals who haven't been a Pokemon yet however I figure there will only be a few of them...plus I have plans for a few Pokemon.

5. Name the character after the first, male CAA member who posts in this thread. This is because I, again, have some plans that hopefully I will be able to carry out. This is also why I'm specifying the character as a male..after all...there still is one more generation of Pokemon games that I can easily play after this one.

6. Let the audience decide my lineup for every gym after I catch my 6th Pokemon.

Some final notes, I will not be producing any "comics" this time around. The reason is quite simple, I really don't love doing it. I'm more of a writer then a visual artist and I don't have the patience to mess around with MS Paint. Also, with my current schedule, updates may be a little sparse at first but I will try to get one out each week. Finally...there will be casualties...probably more then the first one. This is where my expertise in Pokemon descends while the difficulty of the Nuzlocke runs increases.

unbenounced to mos,t bill's pc is like a digital Alcatraz for pokemon. After being ripped apart atom-by-atom, scanned, and digitized, one's essence of self is locked with dozens of other digitized pokemon in a cold box so tight one can't even move. Your left to fend for yourself and though your physical form is no longer, the sensation or memory of being hungry stays with you, thus often the smaller weaker pokemon become targets to the larger. Tie this in with the agony of being reatomized, then one can really see the agony we all went though.

Hopefully we all fare much better in this new life. ....uh.... as for me.... I don't want to go back in there.... So... I'm gonna go practice my razor leaf XD
