The asberger test

Postby Jingo Jaden » Tue Mar 10, 2009 11:03 am

Alright, I got 15. Average woman, and average male or female biologist. Now, I got asberger so I was not expecting that kinda score. I knew that some of my answers would make the numbers go up, but it was truthful at either rate.

Of course no test can alone point out if you have any level of autism. However it might be a pointer towards where one really is in life. I know that asberger to some level features advantages as well as disadvantages. It all boils down to the person in the end. I can defidently say that 0 is not the perfect score on such a test.

I enjoyed the test and I think it is postable and worth checking out.

NO NO NO NO NO.

You CANNOT use an online test as some sort of "preliminary diagnosis" of yourself. The WORST thing you can do is be all pseudo-hypochondriac and begin to self-diagnose yourself with a number of physio/psychopathological disorders.

It says that at the end of the test MSP after you have taken it. You can't make any sense of the numbers without a professional. It also says that if you are worried about your mental health, that you should contact a professional.

Scored 32. But I am legally diagnosed, no surprise.

You really can't depend on these tests though. My own answers vary widely to the test questions.

I hit 34. But, many of these questions do not measure Asperger Syndrome, but a stereotype of it. (introverted, calculating, repetitive, etc.) Therefore I do not like this test very much.

True, but its fun to take such tests just to see what they'll say!

YAY 36!!!

Which is divisible by three and six and nine, (the sum of the digits are equal to 9)...

X_o Of course I exist more on the internet so I'm happy... that and I'm not autistic :P, silly test.

They don't have a question for
"You take high level math courses (level>300) that don't count for your degree just for fun"

You're not stupid, chibi... its just a stupid test. XD

That's not very nice, don't tell someone that its a stupid test, it's not a test to test your stupididity. Good grief.
Lower numbers are probobly better for you. I'm happy for you!

Speaking of math, I've been working on the Collatz Conjecture, CHECK IT OUT!!! :)

Im kinda curious to see how accurate tests like this are. I doubt I have asperger's, but I am sorta curious if I really do have it. How might I figure out if I really do have it?

By contacting a professional on mental health. They useually have their own routines on finding out if one has asberger's or any other mental diagnostics.

Ive been looking around online for information on Asperger symptoms, but Im not really getting any straight answers. Could Jaden or Alex help me know what to look for? I know that going to see a mental health professional would solve everything(Knowing straight if I have Asperger's or not); however, I do not want to worry my parents about something that may not even exist(Because I already have enough problems as it is.). If either of you could give me some kind of rubric or list of symptoms to go by that would be great because Im kind of tired of researching this.

I scored a 14. Part of me, though, wonders how much of this test could say the same for introverts or people that are simply shy. Just because you're an introvert and social situations wear you out doesn't mean you have asperger's. XD That's just ridiculous. XD

I got 17, so apparently I'm a female scientist, XD. I'm surprised they don't have musicians, authors, or artists for the examples listed next to the scores, but oh well. This was fun.
