Official blurb from Comix35:
The blessings and success of the 1st International Christian Comics Competition in 2005 have led the COMIX35 ministry to launch the 2nd International Christian Comics Competition today. Over 40 short comics stories from 20 countries and a dozen different US states were submitted to the first event. The winners were Sergio Cariello from Brazil and Florida USA (professional division) and José Carlos Gutiérrez from México (amateur). Both have landed new publishing projects as a result. Other entrants have reported new work opportunities as well after appearing in the printed competition book. Nate Butler, president of COMIX35, adds: "These competitions continue our ministry's focus on helping Christians create evangelistic stories and messages, and they enable us to do so even more proactively than the training events we have been holding for the past 11 years." The deadline for this new competition is Wednesday 13 June 2007. [SOURCE: COMIX35, 3 February 2007]
