Absolutely, Mave.

I guess I'd say kindness myself.

You know, I now have the Cake song "Short Skirt/Long Jacket" stuck in my head.

I want a girl with a mind like a diamond
I want a girl who knows what's best
I want a girl with shoes that cut

And eyes that burn like ciagarettes

I want a girl with the right allocations
Who's fast and thorough
And sharp as a tack
She's playing with her jewelry
She's putting up her hair
She's touring the facility
And picking up slack
I want a girl with a short skirt and a lonnnng jacket......

I want a girl who gets up early
I want a girl who stays up late
I want a girl with uninterrupted prosperity
Who uses a machete to cut through red tape
With fingernails that shine like justice
And a voice that is dark like tinted glass

She is fast and thorough
And sharp as a tack
She's touring the facility
And picking up slack

I want a girl with a short skirt and a lonnnnng.... lonnng jacket

I want a girl with a smooth liquidation
I want a girl with good dividends
And at the city bank we will meet accidentally
We'll start to talk when she borrows my pen

She wants a car with a cupholder arm rest
She wants a car that will get her there
She's changing her name from Kitty to Karen
She's trading her MG for a white Chrysler La Baron

I want a girl with a short skirt and a lonnnnggggggggg jacket

As someone mentioned before, I'm not really attracted to anyone much in the first place. It would not be very difficult for me to live a life of singleness. If I had to choose one thing that I found attractive though, it would be gentleness/humility.

Well, I once asked my roommate, 'what kind of guy should I marry?'

She thought for a second and then replied, 'a guy with a BIG BRAIN'. (and if you only knew her...the tone of voice is priceless)

That being said, I am generally attracted (well, but not really immediately) to guys who think. A lot. And who have the credentials to back up their claims to smartness.

And I am REPELLED by guys who follow me everywhere. Ugh.

Now, my smaller brain and I will return (hopefully) to my research paper on Tourette's Syndrome and music therapy....if anyone wants any info on that, PM me. ^_^

Men with brains generally tend to be geeks who generally tend to be men who follow any girl that will hang out with them around anywheres... you really can't blaim them, they have nothing else better to do, other than more math... and while math is great, they need to find out whats beyond the exit door once in a while... ... what is beyond that odd door, someone told me there is this great big blue hemisphere and that there are wierd white cottonballs, and water falls in little drops every once in a while... sounds scary, but I really would like to find out... evil physics 512 examination.

I will find the only independent brainy geek in the world! I know there must be at least one out there...because I've found quite a few in my group of friends... *shifts eyes* I suppose that's how I developed my criterion...because I know they're out there from observation!

Red hair and freckles... All of you saying "personality" are kidding yourselves... You can't really tell a person's personality immediately.

Actually, you can get a small piece of it immediately, but that can betray you as much as the looks can. And trust me, the looks will betray you. Be forewarned.

In terms of physical attraction, I'd have to say a distinctive nose, or eyebrows. I tend to be weird like that.

As for personality/heart, they'd definitely have to treat their own family members with respect. If they can't be nice to their mom, I can't expect to be treated well, either.

Hm...I would have to say the way they dress and their eyes on a physical level. The cute face is important, as well, but not so much as other things. If you begin to care about someone on a level deeper than the physical, they will become attractive to you no matter what they look like. As for personality, someone who is a little shy, but still feisty. I reflect basically what Yumie said, though, about the transformations that personality and beliefs can throw upon a person.

Perhaps it depends on how we personally define "attracted."

In my lifetime, I've glanced across many decent looking guys. Most of the time, I've just briefly look at them and think "Ok. Not bad. Cute guy." The guy may have got my attention for a few seconds but I wouldn't count that as attraction.

Now when the guy additionally demonstrate personality traits I fancy (which rarely happens), I would imagine a "WOW" :wow!: is in order. Bam, headon attraction!

I agree that both good looks and initial impression of character can be equally deceptive. [skepticism kicks in]

Of course you can get a small piece of personality immediately and sure it can betray you. That's why it takes time to trust someone. Personally I'd go for integrity first.

Yes, but only if you confirm whether or not the rumors of what lies beyond the exit door are true or not... I've done some recent experiments of looking out an advanced device called a window as of late, but... I cannot be conclusive on whether or not it is all just a great illusion caused by a Cartesian Great Deciever...

I was lucky enough to marry a man with brains. He's a geek (in a good way) and, I believe, a genius, but he does not display most of the stereotypical behaviors of either of those.

And that's all I will say about that, lest I get myself into trouble.
