Anyone have any tips on finding a duster? Something like the guy from Weis Kruz wears...ya know, that black trench coatish thing? I want one that is all purpose, not just winter.

I get back to you on that. I know some places in the Atlanta that sells things like that.

It maybe better make a trip then have to try to order one online and well, worry about it getting ship out in there.

I got my duster at Gabriel brothers ($95 for $15, ch-ching!) and have endured many a Matrix joke ever since. Honestly, it doesn't even look like the trench coats in the Matrix.

Any store that sells Western clothing would be my best guest.

I don't know if they are a national chain or just a local thing. But I got a really nice black duster trench coat at a Burlington Coat Factory up here in Maine. Had to get it a big large in the chest to get the perfect length though. Good luck getting one!

Burlington Coat Factory is a chain. I think I got my first trenchcoat there. I gave that one away and now have two others. One's a black denim Redballs Reverend my best friend bought for me a few years back for Christmas, and the other's a double-breasted Mafia-looking overcoat Dad bought for me. It's a bit big, but it's supposed to be worn over a suit, so meh. I bet it could conceal plenty of firepower, though. ^_^

Burlington Coat Factory

2525 Pionono Avenue

Macon, Ga

Hours:M-Sat 10am-9pm, Sun 11am-6pm

Phone: (478) 788-4900

That would be your best bet to look there. That is the only one that I can find in middle Ga.

All the others are on the north side of Atlanta or closer to me.

While I am sure you were only joking...why joke about stuff like that? Trench coats alreay have a black eye from some of the past shootings in schools. I recall when I was looking for mine, I got a lot of dirty looks in different stores because of the common opinion of young men with trench coats.

yeah, i remember even back before the columbine shootings i'd go to school with my big ol' denim duster and half the time some of the "thugs" that were there would jokingly ask me to open up my coat to show them that i wasn't packing any heat
