Snoopy, naturally. Snoopy was like... the first stuffed toy I had as a toddler. I cried my eyes out at the sad heartwrenching 'Snoopy Come Home' episode. Loved his Red Baron impersonating...... his Joe Coolness!!

Of course he's in the lead. He's charmed millions with his silent charisma.

Yeah - I must admit though, Peanuts is probably the most ingenius comic strip, well, ever, so there are a lot of incredible characters. Even now I am thinking that I could have voted for others. But I still don't think Snoopy is THAT much better than the rest, folks.

Who else is a WWI flying ace, a tennis and baseball player, an ice skater, a hockey and football coach, and a bird scout leader? Who else could write completely inane stories that always start with "It was a dark and stormy night?" Who else would have dances for every occasion? Who else would have Charlie Brown wrapped around his little finger? Okay, scratch that last one. :P I love all the other characters too, but Snoopy will always be my favorite.

I see no one's voted for Sally yet; let's not forget that without her Linus would not be considered anyone's "sweet babboo." That aside, though, I tend to be amused by her faulty philosophical statements like "Who cares?"

Lol, yes. Sally is hysterical. And her view on homework is also great. And school in general for that matter.

Linus, of course.

Okay, Peanuts Trivia!

1. Easy. What is Linus and Lucy's last name?

2. Harder. Who is Charlie Brown's favorite baseball player? (Bonus: What eventually happened to him?)

3. Even Harder. What is Charlie Brown's ERA as a pitcher? (Hint: May not be numerical...)

4. Hardest. One week's strip included a character named "5". He had two sisters. What were their names?

1.Van Pelt(I think they were named for a friend of Schultz or someone he knew)
2.Joe Shobotnik(sp?)he spent his whole career in the minors as far as I remember.
3.Considering he gets homered on in just about every strip it has to be astronomical.
4. 3 and 4? I don't know,this is a hard one because I don't remember a 5.

We have a winner!
mitsuki lover wrote:1.Van Pelt(I think they were named for a friend of Schultz or someone he knew)

Correct!
2.Joe Shobotnik(sp?)he spent his whole career in the minors as far as I remember.

Joe Shlabotnik spent at least one season in the Majors, where he went 1-for-35 (.028) before being sent back to the Minors. And, no, Charlie Brown never did get Joe's bubble gum card (although Lucy did).
3.Considering he gets homered on in just about every strip it has to be astronomical.

"A figure too embarrassing to be mentioned," said Charlie Brown.
4. 3 and 4? I don't know,this is a hard one because I don't remember a 5.

Ding ding ding!! Correct. Their last name is 95472.

All hail, Mitsuki Lover!

I kinda guessed on that last one because I had never heard of the characters before so it was a shot in the dark.

Three way tie:

Charlie Brown=Snoopy=Linus

Charlie I sympathize with, Snoopy is a fellow writer, and Linus... he quotes Luke. 'Nuff said.

EDIT: I guess I'll vote for Linus, on account that I, at the age of 20, still keep the pink-yellow-baby blue rainbow blanket my great-grandmother knitted for me while I was still in the womb.
