I think we should pray for these people and ask God to handle them because it really isn't in our hands it is in the more capable hands of God but I would have gone to school anyways and if the Lord called me to heaven through this threat being fulfilled then it was my time ya know but I don't think it is right to make ignorant judgments about the faith of other people although there are radicals in every faith who think they are doing the right thing for their god there has even been a few who thought they were serving God by doing crazy things it is just getting closer and closer to the end of time and we are supposed to be of the world but no in it which I mean by not stooping to petty arguements about faith but approaching everyone in Love from an eternal mindset cause that is all that really matters is the eternal

and that grafitti does sound like Dune like some fan just stirring up trouble with unknowing people by using an islamic symbol

Am I the only person here, that when I read someone's post where they use NO punctuation at all, I feel like they are just rambling on in one long sentence, without once taking a breath? :lol:
Seriously though, I find the no-punctuation thing REAL hard to follow. Maybe it's my age again... :eyeroll:

What a crazy world we live in. But God will protect you. I'm sure it was all a practical joke. We used to get bomb scares all the time in my school because some stupid pranksters thought it was funny. It's probably nothing to worry about.
In Christ,

Oh no, no, I'm the same way. XD

As for the graffiti...to be honest, that doesn't even feel like much of a threat to me. For one thing, was it just the moon, or was it a star and crescent? Without the star, it's not the muslim symbol, it's just a...moon. xD

For another thing, I don't see how the "weakness" statement automatically means "I'm going to kill you all!"

Remember muslim does NOT equal terrorist. It'd be like saying we all are going around bombing abortion clinics. ^^;

Out of curiosity, does "Muad'dib" actually mean anything (as in, outside the Fremen tongue)? Because there seem to be a lot of Middle Eastern/Muslim influences in Dune, and I wasn't sure if maybe it was an allusion. Or maybe the graffiti-er was just using those names because they sound Arabic. The other line also sounds similar to Usul, which was one of Muad'dib's other names in the book. Beats me where the A. comes from, though; his original name was Paul. XD And the cryptic other lines do sound like something he would have said.

Didn't 'Muad'dib' mean holy leader or something? Your right that Dune has lots of Middle Eastern influences.

True, and much like the Christians that bomb abortion clinics are considered to be heretics, Muslims that are not terrorists are considered to be heretics, which is sad, but true. The more conservative, decent Muslims are actually the outcasts of their religion.

But that's a topic for another forum. XD

I think you have that backwards. Liberal Islam is the side that does NOT support fatwas. Conservative Islam is the side doing so. I have some other major issues with your statement, but those I suppose could be debated. That you have the two sides backwards is not.

Er, I didn't mean conservative in the context of the religion, sorry. I was using the term "conservative" in the dictionary sense of being moderate. So yeah, sorry if that was confusing.

Muad'dib was a desert mouse and also the name of the prophesied messiah in Dune. According to Wikipedia it could be a play on a couple arabic words, but that spelling seems to be a perturbation, so I really suspect this is Dune. And, as a side note, we probably should cut the whole issue of Islam and fighting quickly and take it to PM, it just has too much potential to blow up into an argument.
