Alphonse is my favorite. I love how he sticks by Ed, no matter what; even though everything is kind of Ed's fault.

I would have to say in order..

* Hawkeye

* Ed

* Al

* Hughes

* Scar

* Havoc

I love all of them, but I picked Hawkeye because of her extremely strong sense of loyalty. ^.^ It was a hard pic between her and Ed, though, 'cause Ed's determination to get Al's body back is just heart breaking.

My favorite's Al...he's so sweet.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

From that list, Hawkeye, though I also like Roy and Hughes. Not on the list, part of me is always rooting for Scar and I'm currently most interested in "Father."

Myoti - I added spoiler tags to your post. I imagine some people won't want to know that. But I agree on the anime thing... I'm hoping the real Pride will be a character I can like.

Ed, closely followed by Lust. I really love the 'journey' Ed goes through until the end, and it's really fun to see Lust grow as a character.

Oh, and I have a thing for anime guys with long hair. (hey, I'm being honest!)

Personally I think the scenes between Hawkeye and Mustang were always the best.
I also enjoyed the double act that Scieska and Winry did when they were together.
They were fun to watch.

Mine are:
Ed
Al
Hughes

And Armstrong! Why? I have no idea.

All the characters are amazing, even the ones you don't like.
Just watched the Movie! Great! Why did the series have to end?! :sniffle:
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith-- that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

Agh! Sorry! Should have thought about that...
...though I'm pretty certain most here know he is A Hormunculus, even if they didn't know he was actually that one.
Not on the list, part of me is always rooting for Scar and I'm currently most interested in "Father."

How did I forget about them? Scar and Armstrong will have to be on the top of my list as well. "Father" is rather interesting, and though I'm not caught up yet, I get the strong feeling he may be...
... the Elrics' dad, unless that was already addressed in the manga.
Why did the series have to end?!

It didn't. The manga is still going (which is quite a bit better than that anime, I must add).

Actually, light has been cast on that...
He and Hohenheim were definitely at different places at exactly the same time (they look exactly the same, though). Hohenheim is revealed to be not human (he takes a lot of gunshots to the chest and is just upset someone wanted to shoot him), very likely created by Father, and possibly working against him. Father seemed interested that Hohenheim still existed and that he was able to have children.

It does indeed make me wonder.
