Postby Sparrowhawk » Fri Sep 01, 2006 10:44 am

Is, and if so, when, Tsubasa: The Reservoir Chronicle going to become an anime available in Englsih (not including fansubs)? I asked this about a year and a half ago because on a post, but then my computer messed up and i was not able to keep up with it. Anyone know? Thanks!

Final Fantasy 7

"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

It was announced on January 14th of this year that Funimation licensed Tsubasa season 1 for region 1 distribution. Their November release listing has just come out and it's not on there. It looks like it may be the first of 2007 before it hits the shelf, December 2006 at the earliest

Funi started dubbing it in July. Hopefully it will be out soon.

January at the earliest, as FUNi has already listed all the anime it's releasing up through the end of 2006. I expect them to save it until March-April though, as they are already in the middle of releasing Basilisk, Trinity Blood, Moon Phase, Negima, Rumbling Hearts, Speed Grapher, Kodocha, Case Closed... they've got to save a few for the new year!
