:( Like the day I moved to my new house, I heard over the radio that Steve Irwin died from a sting ray zap. SAD!! I used to watch his show all the time. I haven't watched it for a few years now but I still remember his wife Terry and his little girl, Bindi. I feel so sorry for them. -_____-; I don't think I've been this sad about a celebrity death since Don Adams. I guess he just took one risk too many.

Yeah, it is really sad. I made a thread about it the day he died. And I don't believe it was a stingray zap, but the stingray impaled his heart with it's serrated tail (major ouch). Australia has been in serious mourning this past week.

The day it happened over here was the 3rd. Over there it was the fourth. It was funny how reporters kept going back and fourth (haha fourth) over which dya it happened.

Dragon, remember, you do not have to outrun the Dragon...
...you just have to outrun the halfling.

What's really sad about it is, appearantly he didn't appear to be doing anything that really deserved getting that sort of reaction out of the stingray. He might've been a bit close, but otherwise....

Plus, the odds of getting a barb like that to the heart are REALLY slim. It really is a "freak accident".
