how do i decompress .ape?

I tried monkey audio but every time I try to get it to bring up the .ape files it closes itself. Anyone have any suggestions or a different decoder?

if you were trying to decompress and it closes, the file might be corrupted, does it show up in the output directory?

other than that, try Foobar2000, it can decompress and transcode into other formats if you have the right plugins (to read the source, ie .APE) and an external compressor.

Hmm foobar says its unsupported format. There plugins I need to download?
