Happy Father's Day!

Postby Warrior 4 Jesus » Sat Sep 02, 2006 8:32 pm

Here's a shout out to all the dads, leaders, warriors, the men who are real men, the men who respect their wives, daughters and sons. The men who lead by example, lead in the faith and still have quality time for their kids.

Happy Father's Day!

Oooh, I see! XD Ours isn't until June! I think you had everyone frantically checking their calendars saying, "Ohmygosh do I need to run and pick up a card?!" :lol: Anyways, happy Australian Fathers' Day! :thumb:

Yeah, for a second there I was like, "Whoa, MAJOR gravedig." :lol:
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

That's what we Aussies were created for.

Aussies were created for the same reason as Big Macs?

Never had Vegemite but had a near equivalent (Marmite). I spread it thinly and it STILL tasted like an entire satchel of ramen soup base.

This calls into serious question Ingemar's reputation for having a certain flare for the dramatic. After planning that response for a year and a half, I'd have expected something more grand.
