is there a last exile movie?

I am wanting to start watching Last Exile, because I have heard it shares some similarities to FMA, and because it sounds so good. Could someone tell me if there is a Last Exile movie, and overall, in their opinion, what they think of the series? Thanks!

i was talking to theif... he said he like kenshin, because i put on my signature that i did as well, and i was just saying another thing i liked in my signature... kind of random i know. please ignore it.

The series is good i really enjoyed it i recommend most of Studio Gonzo's work. The series is a little on the depressing side if you dont mind that then it is pretty cool.

The "say what" was in reference to alleged similarities between FMA and Last Exile, not the Kenshin conversation.

The only thing I can think of similarities wise is the art is somewhat similar. Hey R can you give a little more info on what you want to know about Last Exile?

Last Exile depressing? Not really. NGE is depressing, Noir is sombre. Last Exile isn't depressing. In many ways it teaches more about hope in the tough times better than any anime series I've watched.
Last Exile is an excellent anime series. The art is great, the characters and their development, the action, the story, the world structure - it's all good fun.
It's pretty chaotic at times though, so you will have to watch it more than once to understand it.
I can't say enough good things about it.
