Floaters?

You guys ever get floaters? You know, the little things that float around in your vision whenever you look at something colorful like the blue sky? What's up with those?

Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

rofl, that's what I thought too gohan. lol:lol:

ya, I'll spend a half hour looking out our big living room window trying to follow them with my vision, I never win though, that's a deep question man, I LIKE it.

Brett: "Doesn't matter. It's going to change anyway."

Brett: "Why do they call it tourist season if you can't shoot them?"

It starts at about 2:05 into the clip, and goes to the end...

Azumanga Daioh has its weird parts (like one girl has a crush on another girl, and there's this guy teacher who loves high school girls in skimpy clothes), but for the most part I think it's an adorable anime.

(That wouldn't be considered a spoiler, would it? It doesn't give any story away, it just warns you of something you might not be comfortable with...)

I was hit in the eye with a hockey puck when I was 7, and have had them on and off ever since. If you see them consistently, you might want to go to your eyedoctor, as it could indicate retinal damage. And then they'll stick a big lense in your eye and shine a light in it and....x_X *shudders*

EDIT: From what I was told, they come from weird abnormalities in the vitreous humor (the jelly-like part on the inside of your eye) floating around that you end up seeing in your normal vision. If I'm wrong on that, feel free to correct.

I heard something similar. They're, like, bits of something (I forgot) that disintegrated in your eye early on because you don't need it any more and so they float around. I've always had them, and I've never been hit by a hockey puck to my memory.

I think it's normal to see them now and then.

They haunt me when I'm reading. Sometimes I get distracted by them and don't pay attention to the book that I'm trying to enjoy or study. I guess that would make me a little like Osaka on AzuDai.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floaters

There's a wiki on everything. :D Anyways, they look more common than I thought they were. I guess I always blamed them on my eye injury/sucky vision, so I didn't think they came from anywhere else. XD;

Theres a few kinds, aparently. Theres the colourful kind from looking at bright lights or eye/brain damage, or a small round kind that are sort of clear. Which do you mean?

 What's with the Southern accent? XD

My floaties generally just go in one direction, usually down. So you follow them down, them jump up to the top and follow them down again. (or maybe the direction is caused by my eye muscles anyway...)

the clear ones. Also notable are blood-cells, which you can see shooting through your eyes by looking at a deep blue sky

Mmm... quite possible. But seriously, most of the time you REALLY have to be looking for them to see them. The clear ones are pretty hard to see and eventually you learn to just block them out and ignore them. Or maybe that's just me?
