Ailing Loved Ones

Postby Rogie » Mon Jan 26, 2004 3:43 pm

First, please remember my uncle, who is currently in the hospital because of some internal bleeding. The doctors aren't quite sure what is exactly wrong with him, but they have ruled out colon cancer thus far (which is a relief!). Please pray for him.

Also, we just took Princess, our German shepherd, to the vet today to undergo a heartworm surgery/treatment. She's 9 years old, so the procedure could be rough on her and the recuperation period afterward is very dangerous because her heart and body will be weak. Please pray for Princess as she spends a few days away from us (she's never been with strangers nor has she ever been kept inside, so she's probably pretty frightened and nervous right now) and as she hopefully recovers.

Thanks, everyone.

Thanks for your prayers. My uncle is now out of the hospital and is doing well as far as I know.

Also, we brought Princess home today and she is doing well. She can't get too excited as the adult heartworms break up into her veins to die off, because too much activity can cause her to die. Since she's an outdoor dog, that's kind of hard with other animals and vehicles on the road, etc. Please continue to pray that she'll stay relaxed and calm as possible and that she will continue to recover.

Thanks again, everyone.
