Um I do remember them.
But I didn't like the show as a kid.

I was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles girl.

I loved em. I admit it. My fave was Secret Bear.

*was a fan of looney toons and spider man*

Occasionally, I was forced to watch care bears, and had the bloody theme song stuck in my head for days afterward.

Dang it, now its started up again!

"I wanna be a care bear...it would be so great to be a care bear...I can hardly wait"

I used to the Carebears. I'd rent the videos every time I went to Blockbuster and watch them over and over obsessively. :lol: I can't remember any of their names, but I like the pink one with a rainbow tummy.

I LOVED that movie! I was so mad I sold it many years back and downloaded it for nostalgia... the songs were SO stuck in my head for a week! I didn't like the first movie as much though (I DID grow up on the 2nd...). Think I'll buy it one day on DVD, cause nostalgia's too fun^^ I loved the horse one off the movie (Tenderheart I think it was?) Yeah the Carebear Cousins were pretty cool...

I always liked Care Bears though. Actually, in all honesty, I think my loyalties truly used to belong to Inspector Gadget ^^;

I remember Care Bears and I liked it, but I wasn't a huge fan. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was my show of choice. In fact, I'm buying the DVDs of it.

KND... I can't stand that show... I'd rather watch a Carebear marathon than a single episode of KND... I remember carebears... I was into them when I was younger, then my school (a very conservative christian school) sent out a letter about the maker of carebears being into porn production or something, so I wasn't allowed to watch them anymore... And carebears were so sappy, kiddy too...

LOL, how could I forget Care Bears? Everywhere I look, I see them! XD I don't like them, though.

Somehow, that was hilarious... *dies*

Oh, Porno Bear? On my list of favourite characters from the show, he falls just under Killer Bear, who kills all of the other characters in a bloody Care Bear murder spree.

Yes I remember them. I remember really liking them and my mom hating them. THat's about it.

Oh, and that kid who saw the stars were disappearing or something. I've got that part on an old tape somewhere.

The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

I don't think I ever watched the show, but I vaguely remember watching a Care Bears movie at one point.

I remember watching the Care Bears show when I was little, but like quite a few others have said, my childhood obsession was with the Ninja Turtles. My mom even told me that when I was five or six, I used to tell her I was going to marry one of the turtles so yeah, turtles were my thing. lol I had a bunch of Care Bears and Care Bear Cousins stuffed animals though.

Yay -- the Care Bears totally rock! And I bought the first two movies on DVD not long ago. ^_^ Somehow I thought the Care Bear Family series started to not seem as good after Shrieky came along, though... >_>;;

By the way, for you Sailor Moon junkies out there: I found out not long ago that Terri Hawkes, who played Serena's voice for much of the first two seasons and all three movies, was the voice of Baby Hugs and Shrieky. Just thought you'd be interested. :)

For some reason the comment about Care Bear stuffed animals totally brought Popples to mind. That was random O_o

I was obsessed with them, but there wasn't really any merchandise around by that point. I was born in '84 (who'da guessed?) and by the time I was old enough to want all the toys, '90 or so, there wasn't much around anymore. HOWEVER, I had an old VHS tape where a bunch of the Care Bears movies were taped off of TV, and I watched that tape almost religiously just about every day. (Warped my little mind, it did!) I now have the 2 main movies on DVD, and one of the CGI ones. (It STUNK! As much as I love seeing Care Bears popular again, my WORD WHY did they have to go change stuff? Bears' colors getting changed is weird enough, but they changed genders and entire personalities on some bears!!! *Cries*) I still have the 3 stuffed animals I've had since I was a kid, and my Share Bear that I've had since 1986 goes anywhere I do, (except for the mission trip I went on to Mexico.) ^_^

In short, I <3 Care Bears!!!!

Serena? Shreiky? Wow... it's like 2 in the same (voice-wise). Do you have ANY idea how much that explains?!
