Long Hair vs. Short Hair (guys)

Hey everyone!

Right now I am sorta sitting on the fence between the issue of whether I want to have short hair or long hair. I am interested to hear what you all have to say about the matter, whether you like to have long/short hair yourselves (if you are a guy) or if you are a girl if you like guys with long/short hair. Of course their are exceptions, but I'm mainly interested in which you mostly prefer, what you like to have if you are a guy and what you like to see if you are a girl.

My favorite on men is well-maintained long hair. Most guys can't cut it, though. Short styles are much less risky and can still be very cool.

I'm personally a fan of long(er) hair on myself. I don't like it too long, because then it straddles that dangerous fence between mullet and non-mullet, and I can't handle that.

What do you consider long hair? I think it would be cool to have hair down to the chin, but only if it was straight and styled. However, with curly hair, I prefer much shorter, usually. If it's past the shoulders, then it's downright creepy to me.

Depends on your hair color. If you have black hair, short and spiky is cute, but the "emo" look with your hair in your face is also handsome. Only if your hair is straight, though. If it's wavy, then long hair is a no-go.
Wavy blonde hair looks good at shoulder length, but if your hair is blond and straight then spiked looks better.
If you have wavy brown hair, shoulder length and held back in a ponytail is cute, but if it's straight then ear-length is good. Just my opinion.

I prefer long hair simply because it hides all the dirty looks I give people. The unfortunate part is that they can't see they dirty looks so I growl at them (Yes i'm working on perfecting my growl so shaddaup). However some people see long hair as a sign of rebelion and trying to be different. So if you are trying to be different, don't get long hair because that's what alot of others are into.

in my opinion *even though i am only 13* i am okay with long hair as long as its nice and kept up and if it in a ponytail with a lil' hair on the sides of the face*the top of the head hair not facial*ii think that do is nice but only if its sriatgh if its curly must be ear-shoulder length

Short and spiky is the way to go. *purrs* Some guys can pull off the long hair thing, but most of the ones I know look a little silly.

You know, it REALLY depends: shape of the guy's face, their hair style and everything... I'm not really a fan of plain clean-cut, but it honestly looks REALLY good on some guys (or just better than others). But too long, is too long -_-; I mean, I'll just say the word "Hanson" and I don't think I'll get too many people argueing me back on that one^^

I tried the whole long-hair thing a while back... didn't work out. And as far as guys go, my appearance is the only one that matters to me (I don't like looking at guys for beauty >_>;;; )

Well, im kinda torn on this subject because it really depends, some guys look better with long hair and some dont. If a guy can pull off having long hair, awesome! If not, thats fine too lol.

I love guys with long hair if they can take care off it.My preference is that its shouder length but if he cuts his bangs it's gross looking.

You'd think that, wouldn't you? But I bet your mom will make you get it cut someday. But mine says I don't have to get it cut ever again if I don't want to.

it depends on they guy. some look good in long hair some dont. ive only seen one guy with long hair i thought was good looking.
