Discovery Shuttle

So! How many of you Floridian CAAers were able to see the shuttle go up on Tuesday? I was visiting family in FL the day of the liftoff, and we were able to see the shuttle go up from the parking lot of an outdoor mall in the area. It was really cool! There were about 7 other people that randomly joined my family *parents and aunt* and me while we were watching the skies. XD It was pretty cool, because you could see the flame and everything from where we were. :D

Anyways, was anyone else able to see it? :D

Yeah! I heard about it but it was too cloudy here to see it. :( When I lived in Lakeland we could see it from my yard!

Yeah, I saw it on TV. I hope everything goes well.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I saw it on TV. With the things they can do with cameras now, they had some wild shots from video cameras on various parts of the shuttle and rockets. I am glad it was a safe lift-off.

I live too far away to see it, so I watched through someone else's eyes (TV).
Didn't it just dock?

Hell, if you drive your car to miccyD's theres a chance you could die doing that. I just thought it sounded kinda silly.

Well, they said that because there was a 5-inch crack in some sort of foam thing that would be necessary for survival. But, it shrunk down to a 3-inch crack (somehow..O_o), so I guess they decided to let them go. *shrugs*

I still remember when the Challenger blew up when I was little........horrible....I remember I told my mother and she didn't believe me until she watched it in the replay on the news.
