An ode to my dog (Jetta.)

Postby White Raven » Mon Jul 03, 2006 2:01 pm

I have composed a poem for my dog.

I’m sure it’s not very good since I have never tried to write a poem before.
Oh well there is a first time for everything.

Here it is.

What is it like?
An ode to my dog (Jetta.)

What is it like to have a heart so pure?
What is it like to live every moment for that moment?
What is it like to feel joy at the slightest touch or kind word?

I envy your serenity my darling.
As I look into your beloved eyes, I smile.
For you were my friend when I had few in this new place.

You comfort my troubled heart with your kisses.
And make me a better person.

You turn my anger into joy.
You make me laugh when I can only cry.
You make me feel invincible and weak all at once.

I try everyday to be worthy of the love you give me.

So again I ask....
What is it like to have a heart so pure?

What is it like to be a dog?

Thanks so much.

Yeah bunnies are ssoooo cute.
I hit a baby bunny not very long ago. I was so said.

I tried to slow down in time, but it ran out, in the road, just a few feet from me.
I don’t know what I would do if I ever hit a cat or dog. :(
