i usually listen to metal/metalcore, but i love Irish punk.

Sufjan Stevens, Regina Spektor, The Flaming Lips are just three that come to mind.

Normally, I'm pretty rock oriented. I love hard punk(influenced) rock a la Showbread, mewithoutYou, Blindside, and stuff like that. I also like hardcore, the occasional burst of metal, and stuff like that.

Honestly, my selection of music is VERY various when it comes to genres... and with people knowing that I like some JPOP (it's just not the same as it used to, though v_v) I really don't think anything would be unexpected with me liking after that...

I mostly listen to...Well, I dunno, I'm awful at labeling genres, but I guess it would be punk (some), rock, mellow-y stuff like Imogen Heap, DCFC, Fair, etc...I dunno what you'd call that. XD Anyways, anyone who doesn't know me well (as in, isn't a really close friend in real life) probably wouldn't know that I listen to J-pop/rock. 'Course, it seems I share that sentiment with a lot of people here. XD

Big band, like Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman. Also Frank Sinatra and those old-time jazz type singers. My tastes in music run kind of weirdly anyway, so I doubt any one would be surprised that I liked a certain genre. Another one is disco and Elvis, but only when Im in the mood!

Mostly I like folk, celtic, and Asian folk/pop music, soundtracks, and a little bit of oldies/classic rock thrown in.

i guess what i talk about most is metal but i not only listen to every kind of metal and hardcore i listen to every kind of SKA punk folk ccm techno electronica rock celtic tribal other world classical choral indie/experimental industrial new age progressive blues swing hip hop even emo/scremo to a certain degree and anything i forgot i probably listen to it too
