Germany 2006!

Talk about anything in here.

It was tough deciding who to root for when Italy and the US were playing, I tell ya. But in the end, my loyalties won out and I rooted for the US. Although I should have stuck with my fool proof system and gone with the team who has the better looking players. Anyways...I am now rooting for Italy.

Italy did end up killing themselves against the US vs Italy game though. I mean Italy would have won, but the one guy kicked the ball into his own goal >_>

Yeah, that's true. But what was that crap about "obstructing the view of the keeper?"

That will be a great match, I love watching Italy's skill's, but I have a weak point for Australia's workrate. Watch out for Tim Cahill!!!

Brazil did win again. 3-0

Argentina I still think will win though, but if they face Brazil or Germany they can be in for quite the battle.

Well, Italy up against Germany, that should be a good one. The Italians looked impressive today and the Germans less so but I just have a feeling the home team is going to take it all the way to the finals this time.

Tomorrow though...oh the fated day! Brazil vs. France should be a cracker, and I'll be up at 7:30 to watch England and hopefully see them stand with new legs, ready for battle and taking it to the Portugese. It's heating up!

Well, Argentina got to the point I feared it would come. Penalty shoot out against the Germans.

It was fun too watch though, they should have used Messi.

Congratualtion to Italy and Germany. :)

Wow, what a game for Argentina and Germany. The poor Germans must be so tired and they have to play again soon. And a clean win for Italy, who as far as being scored against goes, are their own worst enemy. I have to work tomorrow during the next games. Darn.

Well England will be on a plane home shortly. :( Rooney should have kept his temper down, Sven should have done something more with the available players and subs, maybe at least given Walcott a run at goal, see what he can do, but in the end it went to penalties and hats off to the Portugese keeper - man of the match.

Brazil up now against France. I'm hoping for a German victory, since they've played so well and with a lovely. And Klinsmann seems like a nice guy! :)
