BOOSTER: Hey, No.1! Where's my cake?!
SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

You have the power to say anything you want, so why not say something positive?

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

ROFL. This is better than the eBay sale of the state of West Virginia!

And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

Hmm, interesting question ... Somone told me that there was an auction for an imaginary girlfriend once. This "girlfriend" would write you a month's worth of love letters, then you could dump her. She sold for like ... $80 I think. (Total word of mouth rendition - someone could have been pulling my leg ... )

I could swear somebody sold "nothing" on eBay once. Somebody bought it so they could be the first to say they bought nothing on ebay. Went for a couple bucks I think. :thumb:

This forum really is drifting away from the original topic, but I serious doubt that Straylight or anyone else will care. Meanwhile, the only other funny item I know sold on eBay (but I'm pretty certain about this one):

An Air Guitar.

There was one guy who sold his vote on ebay... with the phrase "Why let big business votes and teamsters be the only vote for sale? You buy it, I vote it"

that was highly amusing :D

That is the funniest thing...

Not so strange as this, but people make big money selling items, characters, and accounts on Everquest and Ultima Online... I saw a Character selling for 100,000 real (us) money! And people buy it, too...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

I found a (peperidge farm) goldfish that's really two goldfish stuck together. It looks really weird. I was gonna try to auction it off for $5.00 and see if anyone bought it.

You know, I think someone bought a triscuit this way, too...
