What shops/trades would you find in a Medieval-like Village?

Talk about anything in here.

It's a reasonable sized village (a couple thousand) and the status of everyone is pretty similar, although kids are below adults. The village Priest and a GraveKeeper are head honchos. Healers also were at the top but they're banned now. Other than that most of the villagers enjoy a working class life (or similar).

Okay, then it's really more of a town (a fairly large one at that) rather than a village. Just to give you a rough idea, by around 1100 A.D., there were only about 18 towns in England with populations over 2000 people, and only six with populations greater than 4,000. Some regions of course may have had greater levels of urbanization (e.g. Italy), so you might also want to decide what sort of country this town is situated in. You should probably check out a few books on medievel town life at your local library.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge

For example Life In A Mediveal Village,Life In A Mediveal Castle, etc.and yes these are a real series of books that take a look about how life was lived in the Middle Ages. Also check out some costume books that might help you get an overall idea of what the average peasant would have worn back in those days.
