There's a couple of other threads about Otakon, actually. XD There's a few of us planning on going, namely myself, Mr. SmartyPants, meboecker, probably SpoonyBard, and a few others. We'd love to see you there, if your parents are cool with it. ^^

Just like last year, I will be a Save Point.

Hello then, why don't you make a thread in the who is who area and tell us about yourself?

Now that I have said that, welcome to CAA and hope you will have a wonderful stay.

As kae said, I will be there again, and I will be taking MSP again. I may cosplay, but I'm not sure yet.

I've heard from a reliable source that Yoshiki, the genius behind X Japan, is going to be there.

You know, I really, REALLY hate living in Oklahoma. The least they could do is announce this stuff more than a month in advance. Maybe then I'd have a shot at actually friggin' going.

XDDDD They would feel a little better, I suppose. Then they'll nag at me about the potential evils of the opposite sex. But that's awesome, MSP.

Anyway, I thought people-not-quite-friends-anymore would offer to take me, but I guess not.

I went to a local one, and that was awesome by itself. Considering Otakon is the biggest and best anime convention in the States, imo, I think yes. Very yes, though I've never been. Though I'm sure the lines are longer.

The lines. Can get pretty long, roffle. xD; Last year we had to wait quite a while to get our badges. D: We stood at the same spot in line for about an hour.. then it moved.. like.. five inches. And then it stopped again. xD;

I'll be there... Yep the convention crasher has arrived... oh wait I have tickets... oh well. So we need like a list of CAAers who are going to be there. Then we should all wear like CAA name tags to find each other!

Anybody going in cosplay?

What we need to do is establish a meeting time and place. Like say, by the fountain in the main lobby around 9 AM-ish. Instead of just saying "Hey, let's all go and hope by random chance we all see each other."

Of course, I also have a cell phone, which I will PM to Ryan later, so he can get hold of me and say "Dude, we're right here." Unlike last year when I had no phone. XP

Whee! Can't wait. As I've said before, you will see me either cosplaying as Harry Mason from Silent Hill or walking around with an acoustic guitar, jamming on anime and videogame music. Woohoo!
