The piano intro is just overwhelming for that one. Great tearjerker of a song. Even moreso if you hear it while watching the anime.

Wolf's Rain has a lot...I listen to the first CD quite a bit. Now I need to get that second CD. Yoko Kanno does such great music.

Saikano-Sayonara (acoustic version) SADDEST SONG EVER. whenever i hear this song I get a knot in my chest because of the images associated with it, Not pleasant to listen to.

"Dakishimete", character single of Chopper from One Piece.
The name means "Please, Hold Me." Even without looking at the English lyrics (though I do know them), it's enough to make you really want to hold the little guy. ;_;

I'm suprised that no one mentioned "Sound Life" / "Rem's song" from Trigun. It was pretty sad, especially after THAT happened... (I dunno how to use spoiler tags...)
