The dark tones in this piece really help with setting the mood for the whole work. One of the things that might help with the legs is working more with the area around the ankles. Ankle joints can be tricky at the angles you're working with, but no matter how they're bent, they don't have hard edges in them. Also, remember that calves have a slight curve of muscle just like forearms do - even if the legs are supposed to look thin or gaunt, there is going to be some curvature, not just a straight line.
This is a neat piece! The spider is a nice touch.
