I used to..but..I just don't have an interest in that place any more...too simplistic and they are so anti-Christian. I got one of my accounts deleated because I talked about God.

That isn't true, CR. They are not anti-Christian. They don't let you talk about any religion, because they don't want religious fights shooting all over the message boards. Which is definitely understandable, since it usually turns into a flame war.

They DO let you talk about God on your user profile, though.

I was richer earlier, but I don't play it as much anymore. :P

I used to play neopets. I'm super rich if anyone wants anything. I got all my money from scamming innocent little kids. XD
...I'm...notorious.....for that and...other stuff. A friend of mine trolled it a lot and aided in terrorizing neopets.com.

To quote Paul, disciple of God, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." From Romans 12:18.

Temmy, I'm not trying to turn this fun thread into a sermon or anything, but I'm with Heart of Sword here. I've seen you post countless times about how you love to upset people, and love to do nasty things, and really, that's the complete opposite of how Paul and even Jesus Himself tell us to live.

Yes, Jesus stirred up trouble wherever He went, but He did it by being peaceful and righteous. Jesus never walked out and said, "Gee, I'm gonna see who I can make mad today!" Jesus never did things JUST to make others angry. He did what was good and right in the Lord's eyes, and in that way, he irritated those who were against Him.

We're not meant to go out and do mean things because they're fun, and we're not to try and make others angry at us. Again, I'm not trying to preach at you, but you seem to have a history of this from what I've seen, and we are to help build each other up in Christ, and I'm just telling you this so that you can maybe steer back on the right path. ^^

Neopets.com has no relation to anything I may or may not have said about "upsetting people in the name of Christ?" (Don't think I ever said that). In fact it has ZERO relationship to my Christianity. As I said to HoS, I absolutely HATE it when people preach goody-good works/morals as if they were gospel. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, so no offense...but quite frankly Jesus would never be on a virtual pet site to begin with. Yeah, ok, assuming He DID have an interest in virtual pets, He would never take a kid's hard-earned virtual points (all the more of lesson for kids not trust online identities anyway). Neither would Buddha...neither would the Dahli-Llama, Reverend Moon, and a whole host of others. They could all teach you how to get along and love one another just as well Christianity could.

It's weird cause I just had a discussion with someone about how morals is all they teach in Sunday schools these days. Nothing can turn a kid into an atheist quicker than telling him to clean his room cause its a Christian thing to do. It's also a Buddhist thing to do, it's also a Hindi thing to do, it's also a secular thing to do. I'm not saying attitude doesn't matter, but all that comes as a result of Christ, not the other way around. The thing that sets Christianity apart from these other religions is Jesus' saving grace.

So...yeah...I'm afraid I'm never going to "steer back onto the right path." I'm not saved by works, morals, or Neopets "nettiquette." When I go into the store I kick lose cantelope...I keep library books long past the due date...I troll on math forums...and terrorize the world with commie antics simply because it's fun. I'm human. And let's face it - being kind and polite to some meathead on Neopets is not going to "build anyone up in Christ." The good news is that because of Jesus I'm forgiven (yes, don't let the suspense kill you! There's hope for even neopets scammers like me folks!), accepted, saved. I don't mean to turn this into a theology debate or anything, but as far as I'm concerned you can take your good citizenship, bottle it, and sell it to a Ziggy calender. :P

BTW, that verse you quoted was used in the context of taking revenge in a serious manner. Remember Paul was adressing the Romans, who were a rather brutal and unforgiving society. Read the verses below and above it. OR...go up to verse 12:16 and you have "Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits."

Sorry, but if you claim to follow Jesus, you're called to something higher than regular humanity, USSR. You can't use the "I'm human" excuse if you're a Christian.

wow...

hey!! I never did it to be mean..I was young and ignorant!! ^^; I had no idea there was no religion allowed on neopets...I just got reported at the same time like three times...that added up tothe three strike max....

I hate it when religion is toned down....it drives me nuts...

and any site where I can't share about christ because of some general religion rule...makes me slightly uncomfortable.

sorry but I don't support a site that looks down on relgion. Whether its to avoid flamewars or not... religion is a huge part of what human kind is..granted, only one religion really matters but still..

bah I am rambling sorry for causing a debate...Neopets was fun I suggest it to anyone who isn't bothered by the no religion rule..

but I was...so I got bored and left...meh.

EDIT: I think after I lost my Chomby and Cybunny I kinda just...was like. "WAAH" and left...

HoS, I'll PM you and Nat on the subject for further debate. I'm not going to post anymore cause I don't wanna get this thread closed. But I just wanna say that Neo-trolling has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity and should really not even be a topic of debate to begin with. I get seriously worried when I hear Christians going off about things like this. Sounds an awful lot like the Talmudic Jews worrying about what happens if a pig runs into your living room on accident. Is it un-koshered still?!!! O.O Whilst completely missing the Messiah waiting for them on the other side of the house.

Okay, and I get seriously worried when I see Christians doing things that I consider to be mean, so...looks like we're even. :P

CR...they don't look down on religion. They don't let you talk about much of anything that could spawn debate. Not unlike this website. CAA doesn't look down on theology, but it still doesn't let you discuss it...see what I mean?

Ironically, I don't like websites that allow discussion of religion. Christianity isn't a religion anyway, but that's for another time and place.

As for Neopets, I used to have an account. I got bored though, so I left.

I know Christianity is a RELATIONSHIP I got it...lol

I just grew out of NP primarily lol.. the other reason was only part of it..

now if we could see the pets playing aruond...that would be cool..but they are just still pictures... maybe for for a 10 year old....but in my opinion I would rather waste my life on CAA! LOL
