Do you own a pet?

If so then what kind of pet?

I have two Yorkshire/Shi Tzu dogs, two black and white cats, an African Grey Parrot who won't shut up, and thirteen turtles. Oh, wait, less now that some of them were eaten. :( Poor turtles. And I dunno if this counts, but there's this cat that hangs around our yard. Our cat gets into fights with him whenever he escapes. He look just like our cats except he has a white moustache. So we say it is their pappy and ou cat has father issues, which is why he fights with his dad. *nod nod*

Poor turtles. I had some a long time ago. They did not last too long.

I have an English Shephard (at least that's what the previous owner said he was).---ELdwood
I have a gentle guinea pig. ---Carmel
I also recently acquired my favorite animal of all times: a FERRET!!!!!!!!! ---Slinky

I'm old enough to have lived through several pets. Most of them were dogs and there were also a few cats.We also have had throughout my life goldfish, one hamster and several gerbils.
The earliest cat I remember we had was a tabby tomcat named Mr. Mac and then
when we were living in northern Minnesota we had a female dog named Lady.Lady had puppies in the closet.
Next in southwestern Minnesota we had a dog that was part chihuhua named Brownie, etc.

Three dogs(mutts, but ya gotta love 'em, most of the time)
Say, about 50-60 chickens 'n ducks and one goose (I don't live on a farm, I'm just a nutter)
Three pitifully needy cats(mostly, they just NEED food constantly, or attention constantly, or in the house con...you get the idea). I worked one of my kitties into my avatar!

I have a bird, a sun conure (small parrot). His name is Tal. He is named after the Captain of the Hosts from Frank Peretti's book This Present Darkness . Awesome book. The sequel was good too, it just started off slowly and was hard to get into, but once it got moving you couldn't put it down.
Anyway, Tal is 7 years old, and can live to 30-35.

Here he is.

As a family, we have 3 dogs: 2 pomeranian/poodle mix named Rascal and Ginger
1 mystery mutt named Lady(she was a stray that my mom took in)
We also have a quaker parrot named Kasumi(I don't claim her at all. She wants to bite everyone. She actually used to belong to one of my friends, but she didn't want her anymore, so my mom took her in.)

Now for my pets: 1 tan and white hamster(Phantom)
2 ferrets, an albino and a gray one(Yuki and Sakura)
2 betta fish, aka siamese fighting fish(Noah, a blue and salmon colored one and Aloysios Hemmingway, who is red and purple) Al usually stays at work as he is our office mascot.

I currently only have a beagle named molly. We used to have a border collie/something mix named Buster, but he's gone now. And I am currently fishless, all my Cooly(I know that is spelled way wrong, but it's pronounced the same) Loaches have died, as has my Tetra I had. So I'm left with an empty fish tank.

I have a cat named Isaac and a golden retriever puppy named Tristan.

Isaac is your typical malevolent feline - on many occasions he will start attacking you completely at random, as though something snapped in his brain. At times all it takes is looking at him funny.

Tristan is at the stage where he attempts to eat anything and everything. I think I'm probably his favorite toy. He absolutely bum rushes me when he sees me each morning, and stares at me very seriously, silently begging for me to pet him. For the first week I had to rub his ears while humming Ode to Joy just to get him to sleep in the crate each night.
