"Fricking piece of"
"Gaah!"
"Stupid"
"DIE"
"Woah..."
"it" (because I always want to curse "it" and do other things to "it")
My old computer's actual name (the name windows accepts the computer as) was BOBTHEDUCK... This one is prolly "ACER CIRCUIT CITY" or something similar...

I noticed, when using the G4's at VVC, that these names apply to pretty much all personal computers, both mac and IBM based...

Main desktop right now is Midori. One in living room is Eve. My laptop is Kiku. Old computer that was in living room but now retired is Santa.

At work, my main work computer is called Rein. There's bunch of others in there like Letni and Mud, but rest is company secret~

Bonus cookies to one who can figure out the reference where my desktop and laptop's names come from~

My laptop's full name is 'I'm sure it hates me' (first name) and 'You're working! I love this computer!' (surname)... because I only tend to refer to my laptop during moments of intense emotion and the only intense emotion I feel when using that laptop is when it is either performing amazingly or refusing to print out my assignment ten minutes before I have to hand it in. :)

I like 'it' as a name too, heheh.

I'm typing this on Seamus (my laptop). My previous laptop, a '98-issue Thinkpad (still works) is Uilliam. My desktop/fileserver is Hamish, successor to Arthur. Seamus and Hamish both run Windows XP. Uilliam runs Debian Linux. Arthur ran Windows 98. I gave my Red Hat machine away to a friend who had a piece of junk.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.
