You spelled neighbors the non-American way! Soon you will say colouring and ride in lifts.[/totally random tangent]

My neighbors are fun! The ones I hang out with are at least. The ones on the other side of my house can be a bit annoying but they're pretty nice too. I used to have neighbors with little kids that terrorized the neighborhood, but now they live in some other unsuspecting neighborhood.

My neighbourhood = senoirity :/ I was deprived when little to play with neighbourhood kids. Had a couple later on, but the only "kids" that were there were much older than me :/ It's reeaaaaally quiet here though. Noisest thing that goes on (like this very minute) is the sound of lawn mowers.

My Neighbors (Sorry for the Brittish spelling!) are mostly just odd. Some of them are nice, but we have a nosey one, a mean one, and some eccentric ones. It's quite an interesting neighborhood!

I dislike my neighbors. They think they own the neighborhood...

The come into my backyard without asking...they killed half of my tree. (It's limbs were on their side) and they decide to cut them and spray their yard with this stuff that ultimately gave my tree a disease. *loves my tree and wants to save it's life*

uhh... they let their baby go where ever she wants to in her little car, (that includes our yard)

The call the cops if we have an out door fire (IN A FIREPLACE!!)

They yell at my dog when he goes out side (which is hardly ever).just because he is barking. (Hellooo dogs bark!)

He called the cops on my sister's car because she hadn't moved it in 6 months..and they wanted our space (ITS IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE!! IT'S OUR SPACE!) (and they still park in it when we go some where

oh and he washes his stupid truck every freaking..DAY! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WATER IS WASTED?!

oh..and they stare...ooh do they stare...>.<

Just..URGH! They drive me nuts!

My neighbours are, one one side, the campus health center's mental health clinic (which is very quiet), and on the other sides either frat houses or houses of college students that act like they are in frats. Lots of drunken parties on weekends, but unfortunately it's hard to get away from that type of thing around here. Although, it was somewhat amusing to be walking to work at 6:45 am on a Thursday while school was in session and see a group of people playing loud music and drunkenly yelling random things at passers-by. 6:45 am, I didn't even want to be up then, and I have no idea why you would want to be partying at that hour.

They blast their music nearly every evening. Feels like living in a Mexican restuarant at times. I have this really hard J-Rock CD I'm tempted to turn on outside and blast it real high.

It's not as bad as my uncle's neighborhood, though. They have cops driving through all the time to stop the loud drunken parties at 1 AM.

There's this one contractor in my uncle's neighborhood who invites a bunch of Mexicans over every Saturday night. If you drive by at 1 in the morning, there are beer cans literally covering the lawn. But if you drive by on the way to church in the morning, the lawn is completely spotless, as if nothing ever happened.

Umm... My neighbors are mostly APU students... I never see anyone, short of walking by the pool or when they happen to be going somewhere and getting to their cars... Except for the parties... They throw bloody parties a lot during school time... Good thing APU has a freakishly long summer break... No more parties!

I only know 6 of my neighbors... The managers (2), one close friend, two whatevers, and one guy with turrettes who is in his 40's, but acts like a 12 year old (so, he's actually sorta cool to hang out with in moderation.)

My parents are the assistant managers, so they have to watch the pool... Well, people get NASTY when they think the managers have the AUDACITY to tell them what to do like getting out of the pool when it closes... I told two guys who were in the pool at 11:30 that it closed at 10, but they said they were given special priviledges and they got all nasty with me. The next night, when I was swimming they walk by the pool and start saying "We're gonna be in there at 11 tonight" and I said "The later quiet time didn't apply to the pool" I told my mom about it, and she went out exactly at 11 and they were jumping in, and she told them the pool closed at 10. They said "Well, the paper that went around said we could be out until midnight." and she said "The paper was only for parties.... You could keep your parties going until midnight tonight, but the pool wasn't part of the agreement." so they're like "Well, we don't know who you are, so we're not going to leave"

The thing about that is that everyone who actually lives there should know who my parents are... We always get people sneaking in to swim when they're not even from the complex, which opens up the owners to all sorts of lawsuits, which opens us up to not only getting fired but getting kicked out, since we get our appartment in exchange for my parents being assistant managers... Our appartment is out payment, otherwise it would be 1050 a month, and we can't afford that...

Then the other night, people walked right by my window at 2 in the morning (about 5 people I think) to head for the pool... I'm like "What freaking idiots.." so I went out and said "You can't be out here at 2 in the morning..." My mom heard me and went out and "You are not to get in the pool after 10." and they said "We're leaving" Well, as they left, a few of them covered their faces...

When they make their rental agreements, they sign papers saying they can be evicted if they break the pool rules at all... The pool is such a liability for the complex, but people just do whatever they bloody choose and I wouldn't even care if it weren't for my parents being assistant managers who are supposed to watch the pool... If frivolous lawsuits weren't so big in the US, we wouldn't have to do this sort of thing... so I blame the mcdonalds coffee cup in the crotch lady... It's all her fault, she made my neighbors annoying...

I'll answer for my parent's home, because otherwise I don't really have neighbors. I would describe them with the following: old and getting younger.

It's true. When my family first moved into our house everyone surrounding us was a senior citizen. As they have gotten old and either died or been moved to nursing homes, however, they have been replaced by younger families. Right now we have a very dysfunctional family to one side and a single man to the other. They aren't very noisy, which is good.

Regardless, it could certainly be a lot worse. Even in a small town such as mine, there are a lot worse neighborhoods. Some friends of mine have a certain house near theirs where there are always parties. Whenever I visit it is almost gauranteed that I'll see at least one police car.

Lets see, there's an old folk's home across the street. Our landlord's Chinese Resturant is one the left and our neighbors to the right are a Christian family. Overall it's a rather nice neighborhood. Won't you be my neighbor?

Back when I was in elementary school I had neighbors who were like that. The thing is, I lived in a town home, and my bedroom was right next to the one they always blasted their music from. It was a pain trying to get some sleep.

I have one perfect neighbor. She gives our dogs snacks, she makes us really random deserts like velvet cake and some kind of monstrous cheesecake (oooh, it was yummy), and she gave me $100 for graduation.

Other than that, my neighbors are definitively insane. The guy across the street mows his lawn once every few months and when that special time of the season rolls around, he pulls out that old mower at 11 PM with a flashlight duct-taped to the handlebar. To add to the nightmare, he is usually seen in an old, sweat-stained wife-beater that barely covers the bulge in his belly. As horrific as it seems, because I've been witness to a few drunken arguments between him and his wife and he has three daughters, I try to keep an eye on them when I can.

On top of that, there's a little bit of a block war being staged over the presence of about a dozen ducks someone brought to our pond. Apparently, a lawyer living in the neighborhood decided she didn't like them and threatened to have them removed by animal control if someone didn't take care of it. I don't understand what she has against them. They're as cute as they can be, especially the little ducklings. My only concern is for the fishers that come around. Our pond is small and still so the build up of duck droppings is bound to cause some eccoli problems in the fish sooner or later.
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."

I have interesting neighbors. In our backyard we a family of four which can be annoying sometimes. The mother has been permenantly dubbed the "Pond Witch". Right to our right the neighbors are decent but one house over and everything goes crazy. There are the grandparents, two families of five and one uncle living there. The kids ages range from 0-5. The other day this little boy who is four or five came over to my dad and told them if they say dummy or f!#% they get put in a time out. O_o. To our left we have a couple of Ukranians. They are sort of freaky. There are a few other neighbors but they arent quite as funny. Just sort of boring.

Behind us and to the east is a rich gay couple. Skip and Howl... Those guys were destined to be gay with names like that. They've lived back there for about 6 or 7 years now. Where their house is now is where "our" woods used to be and my tree house. We had to take it down when it was fully built which I kind of resented then. They can be kind of snobby sometimes and act standoffish. I talk to Howl every now and then when we're both walking our dogs and we pass by eachother, but it's pretty quick filler conversation.

To the north right next to us is a good guy, his wife, and baby. He's lived there since I was about 7. He's 42 and finally "settled down" two years ago with a really nice woman two years ago and they have a 1 year old daughter. He's an awesome guy who's always bought any school fundraier stuff I've sold and donated to my youth group programs. We've always had barbecues together and the like over the years. His and his wife parents are really nice to when I see them around.

On the opposite side to the south next to us is a lady and her boyfriend. It's kind of funny that there was a gay couple living there for like 6 years that sold it to her and her lesbian partner at the time. She wasn't in your face about it but the girl lived with her for a couple years before that. Somewhere along the line she dissapeared and this guy moved in there. They're very nice people though and have always been friendly and helped me out with donations and such to things I have done.

My neighbors are very quiet...

But the family to the right has a whole aviary in the back yard. There is also a nun that is from Europe who is staying there to take care of the garden. Across the street, my neighbor has about 20 cats. The other side there are many people including a vicar and some people who haven't even noticed that my family has moved in...

My other one, a few houses from us, is really whack. My sister was her ex-landlord right. She cussed out at my sister and stuff. My sister called her one day to collect the rent (2,600) and my sister was paying late fees because she'd only pay $1,800 a month. She's all "%^&# you. It's your fault *#^$% for not having enough money to pay my bills" and my sister is all "Hey! I'm here to collect YOUR rent!"

She went against a lot of the contract agreements, such as owning a cat, repainting the walls, and drilling holes for some shelf, yadda yadda.

She didn't agree with the contract, so she sued my MOM (when she was supposed to sue my sister) because she has a personal grudge against her.

Man.... she's REALLY whack.
