With out a doubt, Yotsuba&! is my favorite manga. There's a few threads on it already around here somewhere.

It's a really cute story about a young girl who approaches every day with a sense of awe and wonder that is both hilarious and fun to read.

My favorites? Full Moon wo Sagashite and Rurouni Kenshin. The stories in both are incredible, and the art is fantastic in both, as well. Both are relatively clean, though Kenshin has voilence and Full Moon has some more mature-ish themes. However, if the age under your username is correct, I doubt you'd have trouble handling either. You can find a good review in the manga review section on Full Moon, but there isn't a review for Kenshin. It has some language and lots of violence, but if you think you can handle that, then I highly reccommend it! :thumb:

Love Hina was always my favorite, along with Shinchan. Neither of these are particularly "All Ages" material

One of my favs that is sort of clean is Tsubasa. I think there are a couple of swear words and maybe a little violence.

CLAMP's Imadoki and Angelic Layer are both pretty clean--I think there might have been mild swearing in Imadoki and a girl is pregnant clearly out of wedlock but it figures into the plot as something positive (choosing to keep the baby, etc.)

Full Moon is mostly clean as far as violence, nudity, etc. goes, but it does feature "shinigami"

Pretear is another clean one.

Aish and Fruba both have premarital sex in their storylines though. I skipped one or two volumes toward the end of Aish Baby though.

Most of the ones mentioned here aren't really "clean." "Cleaner" then most, sure, but still not completely "kid-friendly." Guess it's hard to find one like that, anyways....

Favorite manga:

Kekkaishi
Jing: King of Bandit
DNAngel
Excel-Saga
Yotsube&
Lament of the Lamb.

Of these, I'd let my littlest sister read Kekkaishi, Jing, DNAngel, and Yotsuba. Yotsuba is sqeeky clean (no nudity, language, or "real" violence ["Say goodbye, little assassin!"]). Kekkaishi has no nudity in the story, moderate violence (they fight monsters),and no language coarser than the a/b if that (rated DHABSF).
DNAngel is similar contentwise to Kekkaishi, and Jing is a bit worse (in the third volume of Twilight Tales, and the second of the original series, there is a rear view of a lady in the shower.)
