Hi, I'm not very creative when it comes to names but I wondered if anyone out there could help me come up with a cute Japanese name for my puppy. She's 5 weeks old last Saturday, her coat is all black except for her rear paws which are dolloped with white. I haven't spent much time with her one on one because I didn't want to take her away from her brothers and sister yet but I'll seperate them after they get their shots on Saturday, then they will be 6 weeks old.
Anywho, I just want a cute name, I'm also probably gonna engrave the letters in Katakana on her licence if it will fit. I'm leaning towards Mei Ling but if someone comes up with a better name then I'll use it.

I'm leaning more towards: Chiyo, Kagura, Koneko and Shina. Sango is super cool. If I ever get a pet tiger I'll definately name him that.

Uhh...riiight. Okay, some of you have given me some pretty good names while others are a bit questionable.
Anywho! I'm going to the Animal Rights place on Saturday to get her license and they're gonna need her name so I'll probably pick the best 6 then roll a dice.
This feels so bad...deciding her name by rolling a die.
I'm really stuck on Kagura and Koneko.
What exactly is a menchi?
