Just seen around 10 episoides, ITS THE BEST!! One of my favorite anime series of all time!! Anyone else enjoy the series? The manga is also very good!! I love the main theme of it.

Naruto is class!! it is possible one of the best anime's ever in many peoples opinions. they are now up to episode 58 me thinks.
i have watched up to 30 as i watch it off my friends cd-r's. it is such classness. soo funny and the fighting scences are absolutly amazing! the first ten eps are good but trust me they are class. i would also like to point ourt that you posted on my b-day! lol kool

Naruto is great! I havent seen the anime, but i've read the first manga and i want to read the others... Kakashi is cool.

Does anyone know the store Simply Kids? They have a lot of Naruto dolls and figurines for cheap!

...guys, this is about the fifth thread discussing Naruto. This is getting ridiculous. Next Naruto thread that appears gets locked, but I'll let this one go.

Naruto is one of my favorite manga/anime every, perhaps the favorite. Kakashi and Sasuke are my favorite characters.

I believe there are certain eastern philosiphies that have something to do with it but I wouldn't worry about it.

It's used basically the same way "Chi" is used in Dragonball or "Magic" in Final Fantasy.

...as purely fantasy.

Well, I've never heard of Chakra, but isn't it real? I mean, all those eastern religions believe in it. Magic IS real. A type of it, atleast, from what I understand...sure, you can't shoot fireballs, but the demonic rituals and such. I think....someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Why yes, I can use chakra to shoot giant fireballs.

No, in all seriousness, chakra is a concept that is basically exactly like the concept of chi (as these concepts are in the pagan religions, not the manga). From the top of my head I'm uncertain what religion it is, but it is an eastern concept.

MasterDias expresses the logic associated nicely. It's fantasy.

I wouldn't call it New Age, though it is similar (new faces on extremely old concepts). Still, there is no new chakra assocated movement, and I would guess the word is used more related to Naruto than anything in real life.

Naruto is about a boy who has the 6 tailed fox demon inside of him. He, Naruto, strives to be leader of the ninja village, because he wishes to be recogonized. He is a jokester (hence the nudity!). First off, it's a nine-tailed fox demon. Just a nitpick. Furthermore, there is quite a cast of supporting characters who are just as cool as Naruto.

Also, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that the anime is not liscensed by FoxFamily. Not just because I don't like them, but because I'm afraid they'll edit it far too much. I could go for Toonami or Adult Swim.

I wanna fandub (no, I don't mean sub) Naruto...How fun would that be?!? Some of my friends and I were thinking about fandubing some random anime to an original script that didn't have anything to do with the anime's actual plot...^^ Naruto might be fun to do that to...Teehee...Yes, I'm well aware that I have no life...

That could be a great deal of fun, if you had a great original script. Also, the fandub would be cool, but the anime will probably be liscenced by some American company, making it quite illegal.

Err... "Sexy no Jutsu," which is a technique that Naruto uses, (only a couple times) where he transforms into a naked girl, and gives people nosebleeds. However, all of the "essentials" are covered with smoke.

Overall, I don't think it's too bad. It's one of my favorite anime's so far.

Edit: I forgot to mention "chakra." If you have ever seen DBZ, their energy, called "ki," or "chi," is basically the same. It is basically supposed to be the energy in your body. However, they use it to do all kinds of crazy stuff, like in DBZ. A lot of people, paticularly in Asia, believe in chi, and fueng shue. (Did I spell it right?) I however, being a Christian do not believe it, and it doesn't bother me to watch this. I just see it as fiction.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Naruto has, sealed within him, a demon fox with nine tails. Demons, as I've found in a lot of animes, are thought of differently in Japanese culture than we think of them as Christians. They are often nothing more than monsters, as some are not evil. There's a word for them, which I can't think of right now. Anyway, it seems that the word "demon" is just a 'cooler' way of saying "monster." Enough of my rambling....

I would recommend this anime to pretty much anyone. (Well, maybe everyone over the age of 12) Just as long as you don't believe everything you see on tv.
