I'm sure you will do wonderfully. I've played at many recitals, and fortunately they were at very small churches ;) Don't be nervous, and try not to think to hard about what you're playing. Just enjoy yourself.

Thank you so much guys! ^_^
I did ok for my 2nd recital! Sadly I didnt do as good as I could of because I didnt practice as much as I could of hehe.
Both of my songs had pedal.....and I couldnt control my leg from bounceing up and down from the pedal!! 0_o
It felt really uncomfortable. I mean it was going up and down shaking relly fast. at one point I had to take my foot off.
It was like I was sitting on a nerve. I was SOOOOOO Nervous I was shaking all over.Thanx!!

It'll get better eventually. Performing in front of people takes some practice and eventually you'll get used to it. I still get a little zing of anxeity when i paly sometimes, but its become easy to ignore.

Aww, it's ok, Ranchluva. I would always get nervous (more like my hands got nervous) whenever I would have to do a recital. I couldn't get my hands to stop shaking! Well, you can turn this into a good thing because you will know what to look out for in the next recital. Practice does help, a lot. But, you probably did a lot better than you thought you did!

Which songs did you play?

Next time don't pick one that is so long to begin with.As far as it goes everyone gets stage fright so don't think you're the only one who was nervous.Yeah,more practice helps but you have to stay calm and centered as well.Try relaxing a bit
before playing and take your time.Also ignore the audience,pretend that you're playing for yourself.

I used to get shaky knees whenever I had to play at violin recitals, which is bad when you have to stand and try to bow smoothly ^^;

At least at piano recitals one can try to hide behind the piano. Although there was that one time that I had to play on a keyboard facing the audience. Apparently I have a bad habit of grimacing every single time I miss a note.

I'm sure you did fine ^^ Usually the audience doesn't even notice nervousness and if they do, they tend to sympathize. It never quite goes away, but with experience the nervousness during a performance starts to turn into an adrenaline rush, which can actually benefit a performance and make the whole experience kinda fun.
