A Horrific Revelation: My first painting

Postby Warrior 4 Jesus » Wed May 31, 2006 9:49 pm

This is my first digital painting. Took about 2 hours. Not too bad, but I do need a lot of work to get better. This is a piece for a House Competition held on the Ted Dekker site.

Hmm it reminds me of a flash game I played once.

Not bad for your first.

Umm, why is the Grim Reaper/Angel of Death/whatever cosplaying as Q from Street Fighter III? Just kidding. I am curious why you chose this guise though.

Guise? It stood out as a scary part in the novel (House) for me. No, it's not the cheerist part of the novel, but it is a memorable part. The white stuff are cobwebs (suppoused to be at least). And the dude in black is Barsidious White. I just painted him as he's described in the book (although I added the black fog to this part to foreshadow his naughty dabblings.
