Kujibiki Unbalance

Anyone seen this one?

Only if you also watched Genshiken. Too bad for me, I liked this anime within an anime a lot better than the featured anime.

I wish I could see all 26 episodes of this seris and only three of Genshiken.

Ah, well. We'll always have episode 21.

To be honest I never bothered watching the Unbalance episodes before I had to sell my set to buy meds, so I don't know if I missed anything good or not

You should be happy to knowt hey've cancelled plans for a second season of Genshiken, and they're doing a full-length Kujibiki Unbalance series instead.

I have no problems with a full-length KU series, but I don't want it as an either/or proposition with a second season of Genshiken.

"Unbalance" was an anime the Genshiken members liked/had an obsession with depending on how you interpret it (the anime had to tone down just how obsessed they were). Each DVD had an episode of the anime watched in the series as a bonus.

Yeah, it's a "play within a play," or "meta-series," like Gekigengar III in Martian Successor Nadesico. There's another more recent one that I can't recall at the moment.

This didnt really make my day when I saw it. Since KujiUn was meant to be a parody show it doesnt seem necessary to make it, especially at 24 episodes.

i've seen the 3 featured kujibiki unbalance episodes and they were pretty funny, got some great laughs at em. wait, they cancelled 2nd series of genshiken.. a full unbalance seeries could be good tho it could get samey real fast, unless its relatively short. i really wanted to know what happened to teh genshiken chars in the 2nd series.

I am happy to know that. Thanks for the info. Not that I don't want another season of Genshiken. It's easy to not watch stuff I'm not interested in. Rather, I'm happy at the prospect of seeing an entire series of KU.
