There were the fads of TY's beanie babies... and then pokemon merchandise...

but what fads have existed from 2000-2005? Offhand I really can't think of any...

I give props to these ANIMEs/MANGAs: GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES, AZUMANGA DAIOH, MONSTER, SAILOR MOON SERIES, AKAGE NO ANNE, BOTTLE FAIRY, MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO, HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE, PARANOIA AGENT, YAKITATE!! JAPAN, UTAWARERUMONO, KANON, FULL MOON WO SAGASHITE, & YOTSUBA&!

By their very nature fads are rather ephemeral.Only certain ones get remembered like Hula Hoops,Davy Crocket Coon Skin Caps,Eating Goldfish
etc.

I was just thinking about that today.... but I can't remember what it was >_< know the punk style has been a round for a few years (before it manifested into emo...) Hmmm... fads change WAY too often for me to keep track^^

What about MP3 players and iPods? Oo, and multipurpose cellphones with cameras and ringtones and GPS and such? ^^

But maybe I'm just jealous because my cellphones glows..and beeps 'pachebel's canon' and 'the entertainer'.
