Since I was (initially) misled by the other "blog" post, I decided to see if anyone has any favourite blogs that they read:

Blogs can be interesting, but I prefer to read op/ed's by educated, credible journalists and professionals (some of whom have blogs themselves.)

for that, I go to Creators.com and Reason.com. Townhall.com has some interesting stuff, but a lot of their contributers are on creators.com.

Well yeah, all of the blogs I've listed are written by those who are professionally involved in their subject. The sole exception is Carl Zimmer's blog "The Loom", although he himself is a professional science writer.

Oh,I have visited Dr.Kim Riddlebarger's log:Riddleblog a couple times in the best couple weeks.He teaches at Fuller Seminary and has several books out on the
Amillennial side of eschatology.Really good for information on Reformed Amillennialism.

I assumd that, because I had trouble loading them for some reason. (Don't worry, the problem was on my end.)

But yeah, in the age of "everyone-and-his-brother-has-a-blog," it's important to be discerning about which ones we trust for accurate information.

Other than using them to keep track of friends and the occasional article of interest, I don't read blogs often. One exception is Slacktivist's Left Behind series, found at slacktivist.typepad.com. Tens of thousands of words going over the first book page by page. Not for everyone, but a somewhat amusing review.

I read my own and my friends'... And Hideo Kojima's promotional blog... I read Gans' "blog" until Silent Hill came out...

Dr.Riddlebarger had an amusing picture of Pat Robertson on his blog today accompaning an article on how Robertson boasted he pressed 2,000 pounds.The image is of Robertson's head on someone else's body and looks hilarious.

I don't really read blogs from sites except for those that belong to my friends. It's not that I wouldn't enjoy doing it, it's just that I have so much to do already, that I wouldn't have the time!
